@@thecoinwhisperermetaldetec2523 that was my original thought when I saw it but it looks a bit lightweight possibly to be a dagger pommel 🤷♂️ The holes would certainly suggest it’s a pommel
Hi Colin! Well done for braving the rain mate, and like you I love a ships ha’penny!! Sorry to pee on your chips but I think I spotted NPS on your spoon so I suspect it is Nickel Plated Steel…..possible silver plated rather than solid silver. As for cross thing, I really don’t know but I could see a wooden cross running through the holes, making this the centre piece of the cross (if you catch my drift) with the wooden arms feeding out of each hole. Definitely worth a chat with a FLO or equivalent. Good watching as ever mate
Ahh brilliant Marcus , that’s a great piece of info regarding the spoon , was wondering why it seemed to be peeling off , why plate on top of original silver doh 🙄 that makes perfect sense indeed .Yea the cross thingy might end up going to the museum just to be in the safe side .
