Museveni used a rented house in Riverside to house his family when he was fighting- The house is next to where you met the Street boys begging. It belongs to Orie Rogo Manduli. Kagame also housed his Family in Spring Valley when he was fighting. He met his wife there (introduced), Married and kept her safe. Former President Joyce Banda of Malawi lived in Kileleshwa also(she was an activist)...Muhoozi was raised her for a few years, I think he loved it so much😍. Museveni has Property in Westlands
Salva Kiir and many South Sudanese Generals have Houses in Lavington with Families...John Garang Kept his family in Red Hill... the Road you took next to the military Base will lead you there

Differences between High commission and Embassies.
    ✅High Commission
    -Diplomatic mission among commonwealth countries
-Headed by a high commissioner who's approved by the appointment committee.
-Can have 2 primary officers i.e, a governor and a general governor.
    ✅ Embassy.
    -Diplomatic mission among non-commonwealth countries.
    -Headed by an ambassador.
-Always one ambassador in a given country.

But why would kenyans be harrassed while in uganda!?😢 i've been a subject of harrasement and especially by the police reffered to as the military in uganda... once they spot a kenyan, its like they have spotted money. they demand for cash, not less than ksh3,000/- (ugx 90,000/-) and they will never take it in ugandan denomination, but rather must be in kenyan denomination/notes🤔 why ugandans? i work in busia kenya, and i cross over to uganda side from tyme to tyme, for one or two reasons, be it shopping and what have you..

@@freddiekipkoech4752 Hey Freddy, its my prayer you are well. First, cut out that ccrapp my brother... I feel like giving you a lecture my bro... I don't know where to start, but I'm not impressed with your comment my brother.
Firstly, if you have a bad experience. Kindly don't generalize, if you encounter a corrupt police please don't generalize this to be all Ugandans.
My bro.. I feel like giving you a lecture.. but let me come slow. I know too well of the corruption at Busia, I pass by Busia all the time... even the vlogger here passed by Busia... she has her own complaints of the corruption she experienced there during currency conversion. My bro, should she say that all Kenyans are corrupt?
Be street smart when at the border. Moreso, not all of it is corruption... just like the traffic police in Kenya asking for bribes.. it is a kind of taxation. The officials working at the border lobbied very hard to get such a lucrative position, even their bosses expect a cut... just like in traffic police. this is on both sides.
Kitupcho, as a fellow Kalenjin, there are many Kalenjin in Uganda in Moroto, Soroti etc.. they are called the Sebei.. i.e. the famous athlete Joshua Cheptegei... my brother. How can you claim discrimination from your own blood people.. how did they distinguish you from the local people were it not from your behaviour..
I also have a Luhya parent and I can understand Luo, I find myself at home when I visit UG.. because this are the same people we have and are used to here at home. i.e. the Bagisu in Uganda and Acholi, Lango in Uganda.
Kitupcho-nyuni Freddie, Kalya? No place in the world is perfect my bro.. even in America blackks are still complaining.
But we share so much good things between this two sister nations.. be it L. Victoria, Mt Elgon, Languages, History. Why don't you celebrate the good and the far that we have come instead of complaints.
If I were in Busia, I would show you the many 'tricks and tips' on surviving there.. for example my local contacts, the people I use to change money, the documents I use etc.
My brother, understand the border is a prime area for business and government to collect revenue.. the people are hungry and under pressure by their bosses to bring in returns. Moreso the people are very very hungry everywhere due to the economic conditions, many are just trying to make a living... I have experienced personally what you are talking about many times.. but this is not the place to discuss it my bro...
First, this sister is our guest, from a dear sister nation that is a founder member of the EAC.. don't you welcome guests in your home. Why don't we give her support so that she can remember us fondly.
Saisere. Remember love always wins. be blessed.

I think an Embassy n a High commission means more or less the same thing. It all depends on english version one is using. Jus like for many other things Americans n Britons use different names for same things. Same way u have ministers in Ug (British) n we have Cabinet secretaries here (American).

Only the UK 🇬🇧 calls their representative in our country a 'High Commissioner' whereas the other nations representatives are referred to as 'Ambassadors' to Kenya 🇰🇪.

No, a High Commissioner represents any country that was a British colony or member of the commonwealth. Ambassador is a representative from the non-commonwealth or countries that were not under British colonial rule.
