United Nations staff members n offices are in the area, the American n other ambassadors stay there too, so it is for security reasons, infact after 7pm when you are found walking on foot, u will get questioned if not arrested.

BBS ranks low and all the other malls you know in Kenya are by far better. Name them -Junction, Prestige, The Hub, Waterfront, Garden City, Nyali, Sarit, Unicity, Nexgen, TRM, Langata Hyper etc.

Also, you could visit Karura forest and experience the river. Karura forest is within the place.
