Going to Chicago in @3 weeks and have Cubs tickets.Going to be a lot of fun. We're Limeys so wont have a clue whats going on but weve been to baseball before and absolutely loved the atmosphere.
Wrigley Field's concourses look a lot cleaner and more spacious after renovations. Before renovations, they were dark, cramped; and smelled like a toilet. It's pretty impressive how they managed to modernize the ballpark without losing any of that classic old-school look and feel! PS Wrigley Field's capacity is only slightly below that of Citi Field (41,649 vs 41,800). It manages to do so despite looking much smaller due to the more cramped seating.
The trophy's on display in the Gallagher building across from the lawn outside! There's also a lot of other memorabilia like various awards won by Cubs over the years! It's a fascinating little gallery.
14:54 fun fact, the little door on the wall on the bottom right of the screen was the locker room for the Chicago Bears when they played at Wrigley before moving to Soldier Field
As a Sox fan man I can’t help but admit Wrigley is such a clean stadium it makes me so mad. 😂😂 it’s not trying to do so much but within what it has it gives you such a feeling of just needing to love and appreciate it for it keeping itself pure to the game of baseball and all of the magic that was dispelled over it.
The city is so much nicer with the sun out, but at least it wasn't raining. The outdoor concourses have all the premium food service. City Field capacity is only like a couple hundred more.
Iconic! We might not be the biggest sports fans, but we know a legendary classic field when we see it. We haven’t actually been to it but we passed it, I think on the train, when we were in Chicago last year. So awesome that you got to be IN it for a game! Thanks for giving us a look!
We are so pumped for our first game inside this stadium. What kind of camera did you use for this video? We are trying to figure out what they allow inside Wrigley.
This was filmed using a canon m50. I don't remember them being super strict with cameras. Enjoy! This is such a great ballpark with so much character. Have fun! 😄
So cool to see so much history in a ball park! We've never been but definitely need to go. It's cool that they give a first visit souvenir especially in this day and age when tickets are digital and you can't really save the stubs like before. Also 'Maddux' might win if it was a Braves word association game 😅
Have hated the Mets since ‘69. Grew up in those left field bleachers. I’m very biased, but clearly the best ballpark in baseball. Gotta sit in the bleachers though to get the real experience.
On god the houses in wrigleville are like billions of dollars 💵💵 and the wriglerooftops are like seats but on the roof top and you can watch the game from there
Big baseball fans if they didn't know the Cubs drafted Maddux and he won his first Cy Young Award in Chicago, and later came back to the Cubs. Also, you've never heard of the rooftops in Wrigleyville? 🙄
This was an incredibly fun experience. What other baseball stadiums would you recommend us visiting?
I’m from Chicago but I actually love citi field a lot! The huge screen and the food options! Not to mention it’s close to flushing
Flushing is definitely a great place to get food!
See, this is what a baseball PARK (not stadium) in a neighborhood looks like. 😊
Not many of those around anymore. Definitely one of a kind. Thanks for watching! 😃

Welcome! Hope you have a great time at the game. This is such a great stadium. Thanks for watching!

Being able to preserve such a historic venue while trying to stay updated is hard but I think they did a great job! Thanks for watching!
Yeah, I remember the smell of Wrigley, still feels the same in the seats.
The trophy's on display in the Gallagher building across from the lawn outside! There's also a lot of other memorabilia like various awards won by Cubs over the years! It's a fascinating little gallery.
Thanks for the tip! We gotta check it out next time we're in the area. 😄

Wow that was poetic man! It really does have a magic over it. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to visit guaranteed rate field one day and compare 😂
Been to Wrigley many times. A must destination for all Baseball fans
Basically the Mecca for baseball fans
Wow beautiful Chicago
Most definitely is! Thanks for watching 😃
Thanks for visiting our beautiful backyard! Make sure to check out the night life when you come back
Such a great city! And will definitely be back to check out the nightlife 😃 thanks for watching!
The city is so much nicer with the sun out, but at least it wasn't raining. The outdoor concourses have all the premium food service. City Field capacity is only like a couple hundred more.
The weather was definitely the cherry on top! Thanks for watching 😃
Harlem Globetrotters are there because they're from Chicago.
Yup! They were originally the Chicago globetrotters! Thanks for watching 😃
Brian has a goal to go to all the mlb stadiums. Wrigley is such an awesome field and the area around is fun, especially at night! -S
That is quite the goal but a very fun one. The area is so lively we can definitely see it coming alive at night!
I was there on the afternoon Don Kessinger hit a home run. Something he was not noted for doing.
Good to know we have eyewitness proof 😃

It's super cool! I think it's still worth visiting even for those who aren't big on sports. At least the outside.
Come back anytime !! Glad you had a good time at Wrigley field .
People do watch the game on the rooftops it's a big thing I'm so jealous
Yea that is such a cool aspect of the park!
I actually liked Wrig before the 1988 lights.
Must’ve been such a unique experience
Wrigley is not a STADIUM! Wrigley is a BALLPARK!
👍

Food options in bleachers is better….also i only go club through work so it comes with a buffet and personal bathrooms. 😊
Thanks for the tip! 😃
Citi field has like 300 more seats then wrigley…..pack ‘em in like sardines!
It’s definitely a tight squeeze

Ugh I love the physical ticket stubs but that first visit souvenir was a nice surprise 😆
No one lives on the rooftops anymore. They've been bought, renovated.
The scoreboard and ivy have been there looooonnnggggg before 1973.
Good to know 👍
13:01 It isn't probably a home run. It is a home run if it lands in the basket.
That’s what we think too. Thanks for reconfirming 😃
It's 1937, not 1973.
I apologize. You’re correct. Thank you 😃
IT realy is a magical place go cubs
Yup! A real historic stadium 😃
No trip to Chicago is complete without a trip to Historic Wrigley field . Go Cubs ...
Nice video guys! 😁
Thanks for watching brother! 😃

It really was an unforgetable experience and the best we've been to (aside from Citifield lol). Next time we'll sit in the bleachers!
Just make sure you sit in the left field bleachers because “right field sucks” (as all true Cubs fans know).
On god the houses in wrigleville are like billions of dollars 💵💵 and the wriglerooftops are like seats but on the roof top and you can watch the game from there
The rooftops are a really cool feature of the wrigleyville area 😃
no offense, but how did you not know about the rooftops? lol
Not from Chicago but now we know 👍
Big baseball fans if they didn't know the Cubs drafted Maddux and he won his first Cy Young Award in Chicago, and later came back to the Cubs. Also, you've never heard of the rooftops in Wrigleyville? 🙄
It’s a constant learning process buddy. Thanks for watching! 😃
Best un baseball go cubs
😃
Whatever you do please try not to compare Chicago to NYC. You are missing out on the experience if you do
Both very different experiences!
En el minuto 10:31 en adelante varios jugadores no Sammy Sosa que injusticia.
