What's good? Thanks so much for watching the best Wrigleyville Chicago guide! Put your answers to the trivia question below!! Appreciate the likes & shares!
Hey man your content is awesome i am considering in studying in Chicago could you please make a series on affordable or cheap housing, food, tips and tricks for college students keep on killing it!.
Love it. When the Cubs won the WS, many traveled to the stadium to mark their names, write messages, and express their joy in chalk on the streets and walls of the complex. I wrote my grandfather's name who passed away when I was in grade school on Addison St. I remember him watching the Cubs on WGN on an old pushbutton tv on the South Side, so that is whom I inherited my fandom (parents were immigrants so we weren't fully aware that there was a North vs South Side rivalry where we were suppose to cheer on the White Sox). Let's Go Cubs!
THANK YOU for acknowledging the poor taste in which the new suburban-style buildings were added to Wrigleyville! We live in Uptown and hate to see what they've done there whenever we pass through.
I love your channel and the way you bring attention to all the great things our city has to offer! I've lived in Wrigleyville for years but never knew about the Alta Vista Historical District. I also love the acknowledgement of Native American contributions to the area and city.
Thank you so much! The Alta Vista district is so quaint, I highly recommend taking a stroll there! I try my best to include the Native American contributions, hoping to learn a lot more in the coming months!
Just subscribed to this channel off the video alone. I'm a born and bred Detroiter that a;lways had an affection for Chicago. Always had a love and respect for the Cubbies. I have a layover on the way to Florida next month and it's a five hour stop in Chicago. I want to check out Murphys and get a shot at Wrigley Field.
I lived in Chicago for 35 years. A great place to be from. I moved to Minnesota. Much has changed since I left. You two make me wish I was back. You have captured the essence of what makes Chicago a great place to eat ,drink ,and live. Keep up the wonderful work you're doing. You make it proud to be Chicagoan!!!
You should be so proud, man! You did my neighborhood right!!! Props as well for mentioning Alta Vista, it's a dream of mine to move into one of those historic homes. Keep up the excellent work.
@thehysterical. As a total stranger to you and lifelong resident of the Chicago area, I wish you the very best in this city and I hope you enjoy it because one is only young once.
Bro I love your videos. I was finally able to see Wrigley Field up close and personal last year. I took the stadium tour. Safe to say I’m a Cubs fan for life now. Keep the great content coming.
Thanks so much bro, really appreciate it. I still haven't taken the tour but I've been to about 50-100 games in my life. Hopefully next spring I can do the full tour
Love your work, after a year exactly this week of NOT travelling & 2 trips cancelled due to the pandemic, I’m missing my favourite city. My team the Cubs and also the Bears 🐻 in NFL are a must visit, you’ve sold it. I have niece in Chicago, so 2021 looks a great time to visit once we can safely, see you next year & thanks for the fantastic guides, love it.
I lived in Wrigleyville from 2005-19 and watched it slowly morph into Rickettsville. The neighborhood is virtually unrecognizable from when I first moved there.
So much has changed since the Rickets family took over as owners . So many of the mom and pop business places are gone . Plus a hotel that not many fans could ever afford to stay at .
You forgot to put a beer in Harry's hand! Great video. I lived in Chicago for more than half my life and I always learn something new watching one of your videos.
Byron's Hot Dogs on Irving Park have the best Hot Dogs in the world. It is a must stop before going toa Cubs game at Wrigley Field. I love Wrigleyville. Easy to get around on foot, plenty to do.
I'm going to visit Chicago next week. I can't wait to check out Alta Vista. I'm eyeing an apt in Uptown can't wait to check out all the different neighborhoods!
The idea of city officials looking at the neighborhood around Wrigley and saying 'yeah, Addison. That's fer sure where the wrigleyville neighborhood ends' is insane to me! Jaja like, until you reach Newport or Roscoe all that is dependant on Wrigley.
Hey Luis I love your videos I’m moving back home next year. Is there a chance you can do neighborhood food tours to show what’s out there now since we lost so much during the pandemic
Which of the neighborhoods? All of them except for the dangerous ones. I love your videos about the architecture of the city, but also places and vibe - exactly what you have done in this video))
Hello. I was wondering if you have done a video about jobs in Chicago 😁. If you can explain which jobs are in high demand . Considering moving. Speaclizing in construction
Let's say I'm in Indiana. Let's say maybe I want to visit for a day. Where could I safely park my car for cheap or free? Where do you suggest I eat lunch and dinner for cheap? Thank you.

Wish they would've incorporated the architectural motifs from Wrigley and the existing surrounding buildings

Thanks Pat! I have a couple of live walking tours through Wrigleyville & Lakeview
Well researched comprehensive neighborhood tour. Do more.

I'm moving downtown for Columbia College Chicago in two weeks, and your videos have helped choose the city as my new home! Thank you.
Thanks for your vids. I'm moving up there this weekend to a cool apartment just down Waveland and it was neat to see what we have to look forward to.

I always visit Wrigleyville when I go see my family in Chicago. You don't have to be a Cubs fan to appreciate the area.
I am currently searching for opportunities in Chicago and your videos have been helping a lot. Thank you for such great content!

Born and raised in Chicago, you should definitely do a series on Albany Park on the Northwest side. Come and visit the First Nations Garden.

I paid close attention a lot of the houses I delivered to were designed like the houses in N.Y. which is different from where I grew up in Texas.

I'm going to visit Chicago next week. I can't wait to check out Alta Vista. I'm eyeing an apt in Uptown can't wait to check out all the different neighborhoods!
It’s truly a hidden gem, and so close to Wrigley!!
Uptown is nice. My daughter lived there for awhile. Remember though,....you ARE in a BIG city.

Here is mine. Id love to see Chicago's Asian options. Ramen, sushi, Korean BBQ, etc.
Asia on Argyle or a Chinatown food tour would be great
Sounds great!

Are construction jobs in demand in Chicago
I believe so, but I'm not familiar with how one would go about landing a construction job
