Among the many videos, it is rare to find a video that makes you feel better as you watch it. This video deserves it. By the way, in Japan, this Porsche Turbo became famous in the boom that occurred in the late 1970s. Japan's own nickname is "The Red Porsche".
Would have never guessed those shocks /struts were green . That dry ice blasting is cool to watch . Need a whole video of it . Another amazing detail of a great car.
1982 Porsche 930 Turbo (European Specs-Grey Market in the U.S.) in RARE Guards Red on Red (Two Color-Red on Red Leather Seats with Black Dashboard) was mine (1982-1985). This Porsche had been known in South Florida as the quickest and Best Looking Porsche on the roads there. The acceleration was incredible off the line, from my experiences, quicker than a Ferrari or Lamborghini.
What a video and what a job on that 930. I live local to you and thought I was taking good care of my 930 until I witnessed what’s possible. Hopefully one day I have the money to give her that level of treatment. Incredible. Flashing the lights on the turn table was a great touch.
Even today that 930 Turbo looks fantastic, thanks to a great restoration. Who needs a new car when you can have a restored/rejuvenated classic such as this one 😎👍
unbelievable work done to this porsche now that is quality detailing at it highest standards. i would ship my vehicle to them for that kind of work. the dry ice blasting just takes it even further. world class folks!!!
I was glad to see the snow foam then being agitated by the cloth and used to wash the car. Always wondered why most vids show snow sprayed on then just sprayed off. Just wondered why do that and not use it to wash?
Right proper job on this one, gents! Subscribed and liked for your exhaustive attention to detail. You give these old road warriors the respect they deserve. Thanks for the content!
what machine is that you are using to de-way the rubber and plastic? i do all the cleaning and detailing on a guards 993 turbo owned by my brother. when he bought it from orig. owner there were some wax stains on the wiper nozzles, fuzzy canvas looking sunroof seal and the front and rear bumperettes. ive tried everything but they always come back. what is the process you used if its not a secret i'd be grateful for the help. thank you. cheers
Since there wasn't an '80s song, try 'I like Driving In My Car' by Madness. How much paint depth is lost by rubbing out the scratches? How many times can a deep polish be performed before the only remedy becomes a respray?
Uncle Remus said he apologizes for not sticking around until the end… his Depend reached the Maximum load at the 15 min. marker and had to split. Cheers!
Grew up in N. Miami. My buddy Steve had one just like it when they were new. It was a grey market car, no pollution crap on the motor. That was a serious car in it's day. There was nothing from japan at the time that could touch it. For that matter it was pretty much the quickest thing on the street. Whisper quiet, Turbo came on like a smack in the back of the head, stopped on a dime. Interior was sparse without all the B.S. like today. Add a Blaupunkt stereo and your off.
Beautiful only after removing all the factory protective underbody clear wax that turned black due to dust and driving the car lost all of it’s protection and will start to corrode due to exposure to the air that always has some humidity. Will you protect the car after cleaning to keep it in such a nice state or will this car end up corroding while all protection has been removed from it’s underbody / suspension parts and all small nuts, bolts and brackets.
They do protect it after. I wonder if the aftermarket underseal lasts as long as that factory underseal, or if you'd have to re-apply it every few years 🤔
If we use Cosmoline, it’s a OEM replacement, and if we use Waxoyl, it’s used as the strongest rust protectant we have, certified for military use. A more modern coating has the benefit of newer technology. It’s hard to say because you can’t compare the same car and usage with its original coating and the new coating, but I believe we do the best job we can to ensure the vehicle stays in top condition
12:34 What's a pity is that the yellow you're removing is the protective wax, put on the aluminum from the factory to protect it! That's why it's still so beautiful, despite its 40 years of age...

Guards red looks sooo good after a polish! Thanks for watching!
It is amazing how much paint comes off when you buff this car out... be careful to not take too much off as it is single stage enamel.
Uncle Remus said that is a proper cleaning job. Thanks for sharing.
I hope in a couple years ill be able to buy this car ,this car is a dream ...

Can I know what brand of wax do you spray afterwards ?

It is a leather cleaning brush from Swissvax

How long does it take to dry ice the underside of a car?

Hi does the 911 get any new transparent wax protection for the underbody etc... Greetings from Germany
Besides BMW, Audi, Mercedes Benz all big brands. My model BMWs & Volkswagens & Audis.

Any one ? What is the cost to clean this cars ? Super nice detail .

Music at 13:50 mark..."Love, I don't like to see so much stain..."
😜
Doing the dry ice so close to the paint when you were doing the black trim pieces, will that damage paint?
We can use dry ice to clean the paint if we wanted to. We’re using a really gently setting and our beam is quite accurate
@@IAMDetailing Ok, I see. Thanks.
Do you use paint depth meter? When you do the Paint inspection?
Sure do! We have a nexgen digital paint meter. It works great and has an app associated that lets us keep record for every car, before and after
@@IAMDetailing I have one that too! Its a very cool equipament! Thanks you for replying! I really enjoy to see your work! Greetings from Portugal 🤘

Hey step handbrake 😏😂 @9:33
If that was my car, I’d have it ceramic coated or clear protective film over the entire car.
I'd pay 100 bucks any day for a nice detail like that

12:34 What's a pity is that the yellow you're removing is the protective wax, put on the aluminum from the factory to protect it!

You will find if you continue to the finished shots that we replaced the coating with a modern milspec protective coating
@@IAMDetailing Thank you, a great initiative that will last another 50 years !
