And I thought the Ice was a game changer…. Now the laser ??!!! This is next level lads !! Loooooove it !! It looks like the engine only ? No rubbers etc ?!! Just the hardware?? Love these blogs fyi lads !!! From Perth Western Australia .. but a Londoner 💙💙💙
The original Porsche Turbo. What an absolute beast of a car. It literally changed everything. I remember, as a kid, my dad trying to race a Turbo in his VB Holden Commodore 3.3. It absolutely blew our doors off! What I remember most vividly was the sound It made when it blew past us.....
Older cars have cadmium plating sometimes a silver color sometimes golden colored like zinc chromate. If you hit that with a laser, you are putting cadmium vapor into the atmosphere. Cadmium is extremely toxic and there is no treatment to remove it from your body. Using the laser on zinc chromated parts is also very dangerous because it creates chromium vapor which is also extremely toxic. Even if you wear a respirator, these vapors will settle on the floor and all over your shop. ☠️☠️☠️
Unbelievable. Hours and hours of hard work a true artisan. Great video. After a hard day myself clearing my garden it was nice to watch someone else working. 😂😂😂😂. Hi from Portsmouth England 🇬🇧
Absolutně zbožňuji vaše odhodlání a píli v Detailingu. Vždy hledáte nejnovější technologie, držíte krok s dobou. Někdy mám i pocit že udáváte směr kam bude v dalších letech detailing směřovat. Skvělá práce! 🇨🇿
Beautiful Porsche. I love the Porsche's from this time period, both the 911 and the 928. I'd love to have an original 928 in my collection. Exactly like the one good ole' Tom Cruise drove in Risky Business! I bet those green carpeted floor mats and carpet inside the cabin are PRICELESS! That's a RARE color combination for sure with that exterior color against the green interior including those green leather seats. I liked that steering wheel design of that time period too! It looked unique back then and it still does. But it complements the interior nicely.
Forget removing old exhaust on a classic car if it's rusted up good luck. You cannot just remove and replace everything without major hassle. I'm sure even I am detailing breaks crap that's already broken or weak or impossible to remove without breaking it. Best to leave some stuff alone.
I've heard that either dry ice and laser cleaning the underside removes both the dirt and the factory applied rust proofing and as a result cars can get corrosion under the car as a result if not replaced very quickly.
Cool to see that it's winter time... Your homeboy is trying to stay warm while washing a car... A sports car with off-road tires on it... Cuz like you know it's winter time in California...
Almond powder in a media cabinet works wonders. I refinished to many corroded parts to a mirror finish in one. Really only suitable for small parts but it basically creates a mirror finish with minimal damage. (its self-lubricating, because almonds have fat in them)
A lovely and relaxing video for me :) I'm just wondering why did you use both methods for a proper cleaning? Which one is better, laser or dry ice? Do one of these methods damage plastic/rubber parts like hoses, seals and gaskets?
What are the differences (advantages/disadvantages) between laser cleaning and dry ice cleaning? Would I need both to clean a whole car or is one better than the other and also applicable to the whole car? Thank you in advance!
Wow. Beautiful work! And that carpet came out excellent! I hope he took it straight to the tire shop for something that’s less than 30 years old! CN 36’s from 1983?
Great work, watching your job it's a pleasure😃. Laser was doing fantastic job. It remove rust very easy. I tinking it's good solution to preper surface to paint. Do you painted something after use laser?
Um, looks like the laser is not only removing the grime but also the coating from the steel which is going to make it rust very fast unless those coatings are restored.
Super cool! @iamdetailing I see the laser removes rust and paint. Isn’t there a concern for removing anodizing, yellow/silver zinc plating of which our cars have a lot of? Also what about resolution? Does it etch any of the metal?
Love this color combo! Couple of questions - can dry ice cleaning remove the stains from the inside of the tool bag? Also, for the laser cleaning, won't the calipers need to be plated again?
Dry ice cleaning can be used for that purpose. And depending on how you would use the laser, you will likely want to repaint, unless you prefer the raw metal look
The color matched bezels go over the chrome. They removed them during the paint correction and reinstalled them at the end. The chrome looks great but the Turbos had the bezel.
Beautiful to see. Would love to have this done to my 88 3.2. What would be wise to take into account price wise? Just a rough estimate would be great so i start planning this. Thanks
My guess is the owner probably wants to show the car at concours events. They don’t like PPF because it makes it hard to judge the bodywork and the originality of the paint.
The best automotive detailing channel on RUclips.
I couldn't agree more with You.
@stipt polish point is also good
@@FluffNATOR I'll check it out. 👍
No, stipt polish point from the netherlands is better😂
One of the most perfect and complete detailing ever watched on one of the most beautyfully spected type 930 ever seen.
Thanks so much!

So stoked to hear that! We are pretty pumped on the laser!
It appears the lasers have gotten smaller. How much does one of those wonderful things go for?
It will run you 6 figures for a laser like this
@@IAMDetailing what if I went on Temu 😂
The interior revival is just amazing... Truly amazing

That pea-green interior though....Killer job and killer color combination!
Thanks Craig! Its definitely a unique one
Kinda reminds me of an inside out cocktail olive.
Totally! Green? But amazing detail!
I love watching these videos-the attention to detail is amazing!
Love to hear it!!
Stunning and i agree with another comment, the best detailing channel by far ❤

This is some beautiful craftsmanship! What a wonderful car.
Bro I watch Ammo NYC regularly he is a great guy, But this one is a notch above, I don't know how but it is.

Don’t get we wrong, I love watching these videos, but I’m thinking “the other side is still just as dirty!”
Lol I thought the same “but the the other half of that tube/cylinder is not cleaned” 😂
Pay extra to have the part removed to clean the other side. That is up to the customer.
The boys do a pretty good job of getting around many things but it’s impossible to do everything without removing the entire car essentially

You don't want the lazer near any paintwork 😅
I didnt like the dry ice and sold it, this laser looks promising. Great work!
Marvelous. 🤘🏻😎🔨 You all out did yourselves. Brought a classic back to life. The pain has such depth.
Thanks Joe! Happy Easter!
You Guys are TOPPING the line!!!!!!!!! Laser cleaning---------------- i get screwed----------------------------
You should add in more brake disc laser cleaning, it's so satisfying 😊😊
We have lots in the pipe!
Très belle transformation, elle est magnifique ! ✌🏻💯
It’s now cleaner and smells better than the 3/4 workmates I work with !! Laser beam and dry ice shot would do a great job on them !
Awesomeness. What IS that color? Cinnamon? Pecan? That's some bangin' work compadres!
🏁🏁🏁
I would call it rust but someone might try to hit it with the new laser cleaner if that’s the case lol!
Brilliant work! I'm sure the owner is well pleased with it
Artwork, anyone that has owned a 930 will always remember it.
Fantastic attention to details!!!
Thank you!
Beautiful result! Great job guys!
ma dude this is not detailing.. This is full on restoration.. Really amazing job 🔥🔥
Mind bursting detailing awww My God super class .
That interior looks like the 9th hole at Pebble Beach 😂😂 god love the 80’s

This is really amazing. I’d love to have my car done like this. Incredible

Well done!!!

Holy shit. Just casually turning a driver into a concours winner in one video. Incredible.

wow it truly looks like its brand new again - great job
Masters of there craft .love people with a passion and you most definitely have it in bucket loads ❤️🙏
What are you doing to protect the steel components from rusting? Cleaning them up is awesome, but they will rust again very soon if left bare.
Outstanding car with innovative detailing is a win for me. Very, very nice 👍☺️
Bravo incroyable job ... respect
Really great work, that laser stripping looks like a seriously steady hand is needed! That interior, well maybe the original owner loved golf?
WOW, Holy Cow! Great Work. Aloha.
Beautiful work!
You guys are next level. Keep up the good work!
Oooh that laser would make work on an aluminum boat a lot easier too!!!

Lazers now!!!!! I'm coming back
WE GOT LASERS
@@IAMDetailingWhat models please? What's the investment ?
Laser is good for some areas. The laser was taking protective coating off.
Great job Jakub 🚀
I guess about 35-40 man-hours on this job. Excellent work!
Probably a good estimate for this one
Leave it to the “I AM Detailing” crew to take detailing satisfaction to the next level with lasers! 😎

I saw him spray painting the bottom. So i guess he is putting some kind of coat underneath. @6:15
After lazer cleaning does the material rust quickly again ?
So satisfying to watch.
The same OCD that makes this fascinating to watch also makes me crazy that only the side we can see is being cleaned.
no, that's a powerful laser sword
Better than new one 😍
Super cool!

Does the laser strip off any protective coatings on those cast pieces?
Laser is next level sheeyite.
⬆️⬆️⬆️
Incredible video as always. What can you do with a laser that you can't do with dry ice, and vice versa?
Primarily rust removal. Dry ice won’t touch rust
This guy is dope man !👍
One word, WOW ❤

Thank you for joining us!
You should do undercoating to protect from rusting in future
Rustproofing is better than undercoating.
We do. We have several options we use for undercoating and rust protection
Damn, dudes, it’s great jobe! Wow
Boy, do I have a car that needs that. The engine looks like a coral reef.
Just out of curiosity. When to use dry ice over laser and vice versa? When it comes to underbody.
I wonder if you could do dry ice and laser at the same time. like a custom gun that allows you to do both in one pass.
Nice work… very good
That was tremendous. Did it start with chrome bezels around the headlamps, and did they paint them to match the fenders? If so, flew past that detail?
The color matched bezels go over the chrome. They removed them during the paint correction and reinstalled them at the end. The chrome looks great but the Turbos had the bezel.
😅 vehicular exfoliation by electric flame kiss 💋... Thanks for fixing her up 😁
Give that guy a raise. Great touch.

I wonder if there is any weight reduction after removing that much surface grime?
I love watching things I ll never own 😂
Not sure if underneath laser was necessary. But the car looks great. No PPF?
My guess is the owner probably wants to show the car at concours events. They don’t like PPF because it makes it hard to judge the bodywork and the originality of the paint.
SUPER BRAVO
