I watched a portion of this video and said I was going to take a"holiday" from standing exercises since this one was designed for more vigorous movement. I realized that walking/marching is more difficult than standing!!! I amped up many of the moves and received not only a great workout, but one which provided indelible pictures of holiday activities, although I never had to slow down a reindeer driven sleigh! A lovely and ambitious routine, Jules. So many of the moves were innovative. Thank you much...Anastasia
For someone who "only has a kitchen because it comes with the house" (I no longer like to cook!), I baked more cookies in your Christmas workouts than I have since my kids were little! Good chair workout! I did this with 1 1/2 pounds in my hand, and a resistant band on my legs! Just right! Thx for these workouts! Having low back and leg issues make these workouts so effective!

Oh my Goodness Jules....how did you know?? I made apple spice cake last night and was thinking I really should do some sort of abs workout this morning. This absolutely did it. Thank you, Jules, for a very cool chair exercise. Even the laziest and sickest cannot have an excuse not to do this workout. I did all the exercises with weights, but I had the following problem: When doing some classic strength training with weights, after each exercise in a session that is repeated, for example 16 times, we take an obligatory break, for example 1 minute. After the next exercise repeated 16 times, we also take a one-minute break. We proceed in this way until the end of the session. Apparently, this is the only way we build muscle. If we don't take such a break, our workout will not build muscle, but will become a simple cardio exercise. The question is how to proceed with your session today. I took a break after 15 minutes. I think this is too little. If too little, how often to take breaks? Or am I thinking wrong at all, because without these breaks the muscles will also be "built up" in the case of a session like today's? What are your thoughts on this? If you find the time, please write.💛
Hello Jules: I liked to throw the snowballs instead of boxing. I don't bake cookies, so I stirred my pot of soup instead. Thanks for sharing the Christmas chores with us. What does that mean when you say at the end "See you all next year"??? Next year? It's only the 9th of December. Don't scare me. Something funny to add: My Fitbit categorized this session as "Swimming". No snow needed.
When I said, ‘see you all next year’, in my head I was thinking some people might not do the video until closer to Christmas and I’m not sure if I’ll have another seated workout before the new year. I’m still creating videos and will have more out soon:) Stirring soup is a another good one for winter:)

With this workout, it is best to do it without weights. Some of the movements are too fast to use weights and it can be hard on the joints.
