I have a true saphiret bar pin with 3 cabs in it and I love it so much. I won it in a local auction and no one knew what it was. I couldn’t believe I won it! It will be a permanent addition to my personal collection.
They are truly beautiful and unique pieces! Mine is also a piece that I doubt I would part with. They’re too difficult to find not to mention expensive ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think the green stones are Sabrina stones, not Sappharine. That brooch is possibly Judy Lee, though the back would show more detail in helping to identify.
Kim you may be right. The stones sometimes look green, purple, dark pink and red. I’ve never heard of Sabrina stones. I’ll have to look them up❤️ by the construction it doesn’t appear to be Judy Lee. Thank you for watching 😊❤️❤️❤️
@@VintageVariety The brooch with the green stones definitely not Sappharine. I don't believe the cameos were either. Only the first two pieces you showed.
Lovely pieces! Thank you so much for sharing this. I knew nothing about this topic. You have described everything perfectly , I will NOW be looking out for this type of Jewelry.!
My word, the more you know! This is incredible 🤩. Beautiful!!! And i can see how ppl would confuse these w moonstone. I'm in the process of learning more and more about antique and vintage jewelry. I had never even heard of Sapheret and Sapherine. And im not exactly new to vintage and antique, but if i want to order on-line then i need to know all i can. And i have seen what you mean, with the seller's not knowing all they should. I know it's a lot but.. it's your job, your business,so if you choose to sell antiques then you need this knowledge.
Loved this and saved. I have a lot to learn about vintage jewelry. I tried emailing you again this morning. For some reason the comment on the original sales vid never showed up so I didn’t see your response.
I would suggest finding someone that appraises costume jewelry or antique jewelry. You could also look at examples of other pieces that have been verified and compare your. Hope this helps❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for this video ! I have had both Saphiret and Saphirine . It’s a bit annoying when sellers call Saphiret, Sapherine !
I agree Gina!
I hadn’t heard of either. Thanks!
Your welcome Denise😊thank you for watching ❤️❤️❤️

Whiting and Davis is another company that used Sapherine
I forgot to mention them Gina but the one set I showed with the cameos was whitening and Davis ❤️
