I have never found one in glass though I do have a suitcase of the ones which are lava and shell. My collection started when I admired my grandmother's cameo which was her pride and joy. After my mother inherited the cameo it was passed down to me, and I keep it separate from the rest because it is sentimental.

Oh my! This was so lovely & informative.
I fell in love with cameos when i was just a girl. Mom & Dad went to Rome & bought us girls & mom a cameo. They watched the carvers carve them from shells. Mine was set in silver & the ring part wore completely out. The jeweler would not make me a new ring for it because he was afraid the heat would crack the cameo. I bought another one similar & the cameo fell out & I lost it😢.
I love the silver setting, but it wears out.
The newer cameos are not beautiful like the older ones. They seem so cheaply made. I would like to have a beautiful one set in white gold.
    That started me collecting cameos.
They are just so lovely & portrayed women as feminine & beautiful.

I believe it's vintage and rare its gold with white, green, and blue enamel, with rhinestones it's a beautiful piece I can't find it anywhere I have found other birds parrots, love birds and so on.
