I lost my loupe several weeks ago and recently found it in a purse that I must have been using while I was going to thrift shops. Never would have found it if not for organizing my closet.
You have a beautiful collection of art deco jewellery. My favourite era for jewellery. I have a small but very beautiful collection of art deco jewellery which I love to wear. Thanks for sharing all the beauty. ✌😊
Absolutely beautiful collection, learning alot from your videos, I make jewelry but also collect vintage with my daughter, thank you for all your valuable information
6:24 .... Early plastic was known as bakelite - lovely angular piece! 7:36 ....was a clip on to dress up a plain pair of shoes this was quite popular in the 1930's so girls could go from work to a date by dressing up their shoes with a clip brooch.
I found a ring metal detecting in great shape , the ring is marked sterling but the stones 4 diamonds total two to the left and right of a at least 5 carat ruby - unfortunately although the ring is sterling the stones are just art deco glass , verified by Days Jewelers . The makers mark is a U WITH AN ARROW , i found a mark like it but not the same , My mark has has the U with an arrow with fletching (the feathers) at the end of the arrow and the mark i found on the internet did not it was just a U with an plain arrow with no fletching and that mark was for Uncas . Can you verify my mark ? Thank You and Great Vid love the old jewelry !!!
I came across your channel hours ago. Been binge watching since and literally taking notes (long story)..You truly are a wealth of much needed information and so pleasant. These books you are showing here, are they your highest recommended?
