Tension and unfair treatment like this happens more often now when a female athlete gets pregnant and still wants to maintain their professional athletic career. Hammon is NOT getting fired. She works for Mark Davis, son of Al Davis, enough said.
Hammon doesn't do trades, the Ace's GM does. Hammon could say all day long that she wants to trade Hamby, due to her pregnancy, it doesn't mean anything in the eyes of the law. Hamby would have to PROVE that the GM traded her because of her pregnancy. Further, Hamby would have to prove that the trade itself is a form of revenge. Employers are allowed to make reasonable accommodations when dealing with pregnancy. Clearly, the Aces were concerned that Hamby would not be able to get into "game shape" before the start of the season. Trading Hamby to a franchise of her choice or a team that is not reasonably contending for a championship, would be an reasonable accommodation.
The sanctions placed against Hammon and the Aces are for the violation of league rules and policy, not of Federal or State laws.

That being said when the aces are signing an athlete and expecting her to play and in the middle of her contract she decides to go through 2 pregnancies they have a reason to be mad. Napheesa Collier essentially ruined Minnesota’s season when she had a baby and sat out. The WNBA should be an exception to normal workplace rules where the loss of an employee during pregnancy leave is not massively detrimental to the organization. Okay, so a straight pkayer gets pregnant and is traded because of it? That only makes sense if she was traded because of HOW she conceived. So she was punished for not divorcing her man and joining the cult. Betcha serious money CP was the leader here. They did it to her too.

Some guy who does an Outkick show on the tube called WNBA players 'angry less be uns". Seems appropriate after this revelation and the treatment of CC. They want their own league and no one who does not dine at the Y is welcome. That appears to be from the current WNBA commish, coaches, owners, and players.

Despicable players for not supporting a teammate that helped them win. But we have to remember that Mick has a European world view so his sense of outrage isn't representative of typical Americans. The mindset is different in the U.S. Those with money and power often screw the 'little people' much more in the U.S. than in other modern nations. The Aces still have their corporate sponsorships and endorsements. A'ja Wilson is being talked up to get more $$$. Check the article in the Wall Street Journal. There's $$$ to be made, life goes on as usual.

What Kelsey was saying is basically that at the beginning of a case you have allegations. Then at the end of the case, you often find that neither side is happy with the results. But that generally signals in her mind is that neither side really prove and she blames it on the investigation. You’re right that she doesn’t really take a position. But if anything, she is accusing the investigation of not revealing the truth before it got to the level of a lawsuit. That is my take away from what she said.

All one has to do is read some of these comments to see exactly how irresponsible your "reporting" on this actually is.
Everyone should actually go and do your own research on this before playing judge, jury, and executioner, especially when NONE of any of this suit has been investigated outside of the WNBAs investigation. Hamby actually asked EEOC NOT to do a full investigation. She refused an investigation and asked for permission to sue WITHOUT an investigation.

Maybe in a better world this wouldn't happen, but in the current world as it is, it is as common as mud for people to attack, judge, slander, and conduct character assassinations on social media, often without the benefit of inconveniences like facts. Don't expect better.
