What I don't understand is that people say that Caitlin is not good in this or that and she needs to improve on it. So, in turn, since her team don't work with the way CC plays, shouldn't they also need to improve some little way to win? I'm beginning to understand when you said all the individual pieces were built around Boston but my mind insists that if the team just worked together that they can win periodically.

The main problem is coaching. Christy Sides needs to take control because the players are running this team! They need a coach to let them know she is in charge! One of the biggest problems or troublemaker is Kelsey Mitchell! She wants to run the team she even said too Boston it's you and me this year girl at a press conference with Caitlin sitting at the same table. Mitchell has had one good game, the last game. She has missed more layups than anyone I have ever seen! Mitchell is a point guard do you really think she wants a Rookie take her job? Hell no and she is the trouble maker in their locker room. But if you didn't know Mitchell and Coach Sides are very close, Christy loves Mitchell, just watch how she treats Mitchell.

If you watch the game near the end, after CC stepped on sidelines, Boston used both hands in like a slow down motion with her back towards CC, while facing Mitchell and Wheeler... there's a true apparent possible separation with the three vs CC...yet, they got to the free throw line thru CC passes ...the team needs to be torn apart and rebuilt...they don't see that in order to win against the bettervtop 7 teams they NEED CC to have a bug gsme... that's why they'll be bottom feeders until they see the big picture...CC gets hot, the others will be wide open, they have to make their shots....early in season, they were missing their open shots...between that and Sides decisions, I'm just stumped on strategy

I agree. The WNBA wants to maintain the status quo before Caitlin came in. If they successfully eliminate Caitlin from the WNBA, I wish that the men's NBA stops carrying them financially... Frankly, I don't care who the new coach is. They just need a coach that will make CC the focus of the offense. And the Fever need a Bill Lambier on the team. Team hasn't given up on Sides. They are playing last year's offense. The Coach has never intended to change anything up after getting Clark. It's up to Clark to fit into Sides offense from last season. Sides been saying it all preseason and during season, now we know she really means it. DID you watch how happy the main players were after the Atlanta game. And Smith is not on the CC band wagon, she is in the Boston Wheeler Kelsey Wallace group.

Mick, did you see what Coach Sides said to the team after the game in the locker room (there's video of it out there). She literally said, like 5 times in a row, "That was a great TEAM win! That was a TEAM win. That was a great TEAM win . . ." e.g. it seemed she was doing her best to say "Clark needs to sit down, and the rest of you managed to pull this off together . . ." Jeeeeez! And I'm not imagining it -- Clark isn't being shown much now. I don't know if Sides or the Fever instructed the camera people to NOT show her, but that's what's happening. She isn't on the media availability interviews, etc., either.

CC makes some good shots but she also misses a lot, so she was getting a lot of points for herself but the team kept losing. They adjusted their strategy and, at least last night, it worked.

Fast break, run and gun style, , setting picks, and screens, takes a lot more effort and better conditioning from the players. I don’t believe that Caitlin‘s teammates want to work that hard. They would rather just move the ball slowly up the court and give it to Boston and let her do all the work.

This is what happens when you subsidize a group. It becomes a clique and they want to decide who gets to benefit. I hope this is her final year. They also ran Candace Wiggins out of the league.

cc is having a hard time freeing herself from defenders when nobody is giving her a screen thats why she struggles..compared to the game against washington where some of her 3s were taken from screens by sammuelson and smith..even curry sometimes needs screens from green to make those 3s even though he can make those all by himself...if you free up caitlin, fever players will have a field day on offense...so the coaching staff needs to make those plays...or else the fever will always be on the losing side until the season ends

Her teammates don’t even like her which is sad! They are icing her out from the team and system. The WNBA is out to get her completely as jealousy, envy and spitefulness is all there in the league!
