That build went well, it's tempting to try the same but a bit scary. Question, have you tried to register the main components with the manufacture for warranty purposes? These 12100 builds looked like great upgrade path strategy all the way up until recently. I guess some funny salvage market could materialize depending on how Intel handles things going forwards, like giving rebates on patched but working CPUs. But it is going to suck to be selling anything with Intel 13th and 14th Gen on the spec sheet since it is essentially the stamp of death now to anyone who has done any research.

I have had mixed luck with warehouse deals. During the GPU shortage a few years ago I got some amazing deals on Corsair PSUs, $30 each for two 750s in new damaged packaging condition, about the same time I picked up an Asus Tuff B450 motherboard that had obviously been used, it posted and seemed OK, after a day or so it started to blue screen, during troubleshooting it quit posting at all, the CPU was fine, but the memory was dead too. For me it depends on the discount and what it is, and what happens if it doesn't work. If it is something I need to have done quick, I don't risk it on stuff like CPU, MB and GPU, if there is no time issue, and the discount is good enough, I will risk it, because I know Amazon will refund it quick
i bought a case from warehouse deals said it came in original packaging, instead they threw the case in a massive box with one bubble pouch so as you could imagine it was tumbling around and got destroyed, other than that i had some good luck.
