still rocking s22 ultra and it's a beast and still runs smooth like butter, especially after the july update the camera does everything the s23 ultra can do now
The s22 ultra can do 4k portrait video?
How is the S22 4K video quality and stabilization? I plan to buy and use the S22 ultra primarily for shooting 4k video 60 fps. Some vids say S23 ultra is way better video, but in this video he says they are almost the same.

Why is Value/Price not one of the categories? Seems like it's quite important when comparing these two models. Obviously the latest phone will be better but the question is does the price increase justify it. Is a 1200 S23 Ultra worth it over a 750$ S22 Ultra? That's the question you should be asking.

I own both
S23u has
- better cpu and gpu for gaming
- better looking screen, even colors are different slightly, tho this is not that important
- 6 vs 10h SOT on the same usage and settings
- MUCH better speakers - compared to s23u, the s22u speakers sound like a 100$ phone. They get distorted alot at high and dont sound clear or full
- Spen, for some reason, is smoother, to the point I started using it 50% of time, even when typing. but maybe its my s22u spen issue
- better zoom
- better design - flatter screen and frame, with better in hand feel
- 1 years extra support
- 1% vs 5% over night battery drain
Also the nigth video stabilisation is much improved. Thats a big thing for me cuz i like filiming the night scene when i go to big cities
is s22u have the heating issue like other people experienced?
@@eswe1993there are unless u are an gamer. I don’t recommend high priced Samsung and Apple phone's for game, i prefer notes

Had a s22 ultra for about 18 months. Started to notice it got pretty hot when playing games. Even with 70f deg ambient temperature, the battery would get to around 103f. In the summer time it got even worse. Just got the 23 ultra and hopefully it's better.
Any changes? How much of a difference in temperature and battery? I am planning to upgrade too
@@kamelikamel-kb9cx definitely better. Under similar conditions it's been running at like 90f. Good 10 degree difference on my new 23 ultra.
The 24 ultra has a even bigger cooling chamber so id guess that would run even better.
@@kamelikamel-kb9cx with my 22 I would be outside in the summer time. Around 90 out with high humidity and the phone used to get so hot while running gaming apps that it would kill the battery in less than 2 hours lol

I thought my S21U had the best form factor ever, however I bought the S22U and it really grew on me.
Sadly here in the Netherlands we only have Exynos processor. Am thinking about buying a used S23U for Snapdragon and better battery life, but in my heart I know I shouldn't waste my money.

Ik heb gisteren toch een S23 Ultra gekocht omdat ie de Snapdragon processor heeft. Volgende week uitproberen.
Ik ben niet bekend met de Fold serie, zijn wel erg gaaf!
Gebruik nu nog de S22 Ultra, is al een super toestel hoor! Het is wel een aanrader, beide wel. Een grote telefoon, maar de Fold is nog groter uitgevouwen en vooral dikker natuurlijk.
Het is echt waar je voorkeur naar uitgaat. Ik heb 6 maanden een Flip 5 gebruikt, super dingetje, maar gaat toch de verkoop in omdat ik de zoom camera erg mis, die gebruik ik veel

I have GALAXY S20 ULTRA And I have the GALAXY S22 ultra and I love my phone the photos are better and clearer yes the phone gets hot when playing games but I only play for 1 hour a day so I am not bothered about that I do take photos and got better at it so I won't be buying the S23 ULTRA I don't see the same in photos to be honest yes if you zoom in little difference but I don't zoom in very often that's my option I have been trying to sell my old phone without Joy on Ebay as my phone as not had much use and its still in the box. So I will try again.

i got myself an s21 ultra because everyone said it had one of the best cameras on any phone, but i found out that WAS NOT the cade at all.
later on i got myself a Nothing phone and IT'S camera quality was waaaaay better.
You are comparing the battery of more than a year old phone and the new and less than a year phone. Perfect 🤣
Well, given the processor improvements, It's gonna perform well even a year after.

For me as a 'normal User', this assessment is splitting hairs. If i can make a phone call, send message, expect to charge my phone every evening, face time phone call with families, then i go with S22 Ultra - Cheaper. Mega Pixel count is crazy none sense. as soon as we go past a certain no. of pixel, it doesn't matter to the human eye unless you are in the advertising or marketing.
So the only benefit s23 has over s22 comes down to better processor.
If you out 8gen 2 in s22 ultra, basically they are same phone.
