A mother from Michigan was floored when her 2-month-old baby said 'hello' for the first time. Samantha Jones was snapchatting her friends and decided to turn the camera to her son, Christian. She asked him to say hello to all the people watching and before her video stopped, he said his first word: hello. The surprised mother uploaded the video to Facebook and it has since been viewed more than a million times. #InsideEdition

To the mother who's baby said hello. This child has very good ears, it would not surprise me if Christian grows up to be a singer or musician. When he said hello it was melodic.
Great observation!
I agree. I thought it was melodious... soooo soothing to the ears. A cutie pie 😘
I was thinking the same thing, he may even have perfect pitch! He was definitely mimicking what she in perfect harmony 😊
oooh 👀
It sounded like he was trying to mimic her tones
2 months old? 2 MONTHS OLD? WOW! Can't wait for this kid to grow up!

One of my nieces said, "Aunt Betty" at 6 months of age. I almost fainted.
Lol babies, kids in general, aren't stupid or cant learn at certain ages like people think and say. Mine talked at 2 months. I have morning talks with him after he wakes up. If you dont talk to him he'll throw a fit to get you're attention and when he has it he smiles and squirms cause he's too excited Lol. He's 6 months now and still says words randomly. My oldest told him I had his food and he whipped his head to look at me and got all excited. She couldnt believe he understood her. I laughed and told her the same thing. Kids can learn at any age.
@@kayosblaize3024 awww😍
😂😂😂
@@kayosblaize3024 get that kid to guiness! A two month old talking is a scientific miracle.
Whoa.. yeah, I'd probably be gripping at the air hoping to not actually faint, too. Thats incredible.
The baby mimicked his mom perfectly intonation wise! Wow. Yup, one gifted child coming up!
This was definitely not a fluke, he definitely is gifted in some aspect or another. He said it almost as perfectly as she did. Amazing!
Not necessarily. My doctor said that a stronger marker of intelligence in children is walking earlier rather than talking and even then that doesn’t mean they’ll grow up to be a prodigy.
@@BrightElk walking early is sign of high self confidence 40% of the time and ability to mimic sound before 6 months is the sign of intelligence in almost every case
This is all fake !! The baby's mouth didn't even move the right way whene those words were said UGH
I was all alone in the house when I kept repeating hi to my 2 week old daughter and she said hi and I was in disbelief and I told everyone about it and they were skeptic then at 2 months I kept repeating the words hi to her again and this time my husband was home and he heard her he couldn't believe a little baby speaking. I was so happy that he was home to hear what I heard. My daughter is 15 now and so smart and plays all kinds of instruments and i believe that this baby oneday will be the same way too. God bless you.
That was incredible...they do learn in the womb. Will be a smart one for I believe! God Bless You.
Wow!
My daughter was 2 months old when she spoke her first word, ironically it was “hello” and nobody but my sister believed me, because she’d heard it too. Every time the phone rang my baby would say, “Hello.” I’m so glad we now have the ability to share prove that babies do talk.
Your daughter must be gifted!
That was a crystal clear hello.
When that baby said hello...
I just...can't....cuteness overload....
My son did the same thing. He said “water” when he was 3 months old to let me know that he just 💩 and wanted to be washed. No one believed me until I showed them the video. Fast forward 5 years, his teacher told me I should get him tested for a gifted program because his language skills were well above his age. Sure enough, he passed it. This baby so darn cute and this will rock language skills. 🙌🏼
Lol your son is a little genius if I do say so myself! 😂
Lol no he did not. It might have sounded like it but a baby of 3 months old does not have the developmental ability to not only connect the word water with washing, but to then verbalise it. Those things take development and time. No amount of being gifted would make that possible.
He already spoke English in a past life
My son was 4 months old when he said hello to my sister. Fast forward 5 years and he was diagnosed with ADHD. Fast forward 3 more years and he was diagnosed with Aspergers. He's now 15 and hates everything to do with school because of how they treated him by being "gifted." I fought as hard as I could, but they just wanted to medicate him to "slow down his brain." Thanks to being in a state that allowed schools to force medicate him, he's lost. My beautiful, happy child hates everything and despises school. All because adults couldn't understand his brain or his gifts. He had an IQ of 175 at the age of 6. They ruined his life and got him addicted to amphetamines. Be very careful with schools.
@@CannabrannaLammer that is not true. By 5 months, my son knew over 100 signs and could speak about 20 words and absolutely made cognitive choices based on critical thinking. He taught himself to flip himself out of his crib at that age. They know to reach for toys, bottles, etc. They know water means washing if you say it while washing them. They DO comprehend. Much more than most give them credit for. I have a degree in child psychology after watching my own son get tortured because people didn't understand his brain and why it worked the way it did. Some development happens faster based in brain wiring. It's completely feasible and possible.
He’ll be at Harvard by 3
Lol
💀😂
Or at three year old kinda! LOL
Naw most like telling the mama what to do at 2. I should know this was my child.
At the time of your comment, he already turned 3. He’s 4 now and is setting his sight on Harvard next year
This is the cutest❣️ He said hello more clearly than some adults do.
My child did this when she was 2 months and no inside edition came to my door.

That was outstanding. The way he said it too. Probably be reading at a fifth grade level in kindergarten. To cute
HELLO😳😂😍 I always talked to my children like we were old friends, it builds their vocabulary quicker😂💓💓
So true. Never do baby talk
Ya me too. My kid is completely bilingual. And even when he was tiny he spoke like a native in both languages. No baby talk.

Is it me or is it that the moment Christian said Hewo sounded like Donald Duck Lol (Nostalgic days xD)
@ROSELYN RUIZ ikr
My daughters first word was Narah. She'd smile and laugh so hard. She was only 4mths old. She'd say it even while she was alone in her crib. Her eyes shined with so much happiness and her voice sounded as if she was singing when she said Narah. I don't know why she did it but it made my heart melt every time.
The sweetest most endearing sight I have seen in a long, long time! You have done this old heart a happy service. Thank you sooo much. :)
so clear too it wasnt jumbled up speech like baby babble . You can actually hear Hello from his tiny lips. so cute
Babies mimic sounds, especially musical ones and she made a musical sound to him. Learning language is understanding meaning and having the intent on using it, music comes faster.
You never actually know why a baby mimics someone. Or if it’s even trying to mimic at all. It’s up to the brain controlling it
WOW 😲 what a precocious child🧬🚼🍼🐣
My niece said auntie at seven months now she's doesn't speak to me.
Baby: "Hello!" My heart: Melting slowly. Hey from Greece, little one (you're such a sweetie pie)
So cute!! Wishing him and his family so much love and prayers!!
Not surprised honestly. You speak to children and they learn and listen. Had a friend's family that always spoke gibberish to the youngest of all the girls just to keep her the baby of the family. At 5 or so she still had issues with speaking. So I glad to see parents teaching their children. They learn from us for sure. Spread love and knowledge is a wonderful gift to a new soul.
So cute ❤️️❤️️

On a more serious note, I think the kid might actually be a genius! For a newborn to be able to pickup and utilize words so quickly is a sure sign of it.

It doesn't get cuter than this.
If my 2 month old says anything she/he can have the whole house .
Baby already own house & parents, you just got to admit this now
The baby will take over the house anyway, the question is if YOU get to stay
@@nanana8928 LMFAO that's true 😭😭 .
OMG WHAT A CUTE BABY 🥺
They should give him a *"Guinness World Record"* for probably being the *youngest baby to speak a full word* (at least on camera lol).
What no
He’s not
This angel was surely listening to what her mother was saying. That HELLO was as clear as day to prove that this little angel, clearly imitated what her mother said.
Awww, my heart just melted❤🥰
Baby says hello . How amazing.
My daughter said "hi" at 2 months old. She is 12 now
She was an early talker.
it's something with the brain of babies learning to speak of the sound of their parents and their loved ones that wonderful
I love babies that say hello, and I love you. I don't care how or why they say it, it just makes me happy.
Me too 😍😍😍😍😍
Aw bless him he actually said it!
*Usually I click these videos and it’s just a bunch of gibberish.. but this one is plain as day and completely undeniable. So cool.*
He’s so adorable.
The baby was born with a British accent. God bless the baby 👶
This is a brilliant child!
Baby:*Hellow*
Me: iS iT mE yOuR lOoKiNg FoOoOoOoR
That to me was truly amazing and so awesome. He actually said just what mommy said!! It was not an accidental mock that somewhat sounded like hello. IT WAS HELLO!
awwww that baby is sooo cute!
Genius child
My first word was actually a full sentence, lol. I said ' I love you, Dada. '
Suuuuure
What a cutie and he talks too
My mom says kids that talk early will drive the parents crazy lol. I was that kid for my parents
Did you ever ask you mom if she talked early ? too funny Do adults realize that they were once babies :)
@@peggyleekight1563 Haha ya, its funny how easily they forget they were also a small kiddo.
Aww...he is so cute and am so glad he said his first hello..❤😄👏👍
And No One Believes me when I tell them that my son said I love you when he was only 2 or 3 months old. I kept telling him I love you over and over and over again and I kept telling him to say it although I didn't even really expect him to say it. I just know that every time I told him I love him he smiled really big.
God bless that beatifi baby boy
My mom said I didn't ever, ever form a word until I was 3 and a half year old. When I finally decided to talk it was an entire nursery rhyme.
This baby’s 1st word: “Hello”
My 1st word: “COOKERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!”
dada was mine
Mine was mama
OH MY GOSH !!!
THIS IS TRULY ADORABLE, YET AMAZING !!!
when my sister was two months old she said "oh Lord" because my mom would always say it
Wow that's amazing for him to talk at such a young age
Imagine how many kids started talking at 3 weeks but video cameras weren't invited so the parents couldn't record it
Cutest hello I ever heard!!
That baby is gonna be a genius in the future
An angel on earth
That is so cute!
Omg! The baby is sooooo freaky cute! I can’t stop hearing him speak he is just too cute
