- Doug came by to teach me some chords for a song--Annie had started singing the Karen Carpenter song, "I Know I Need To Be In Love." 4-month old Alder then tried to sing, too. (Its a friend of ours child , she brought him by ) So I grabbed a nearby camera. Thanks to Lisa for bringing him over. What a cutie - John Update, We are trying to get Alder over now 5 years later, stay tuned. also Annie is practicing with doug the other day for a possible CD • Annie trying out songs...

I used to sing: church choir; musicals; to my children and grandchildren. But Ill be 78 the end of the month and Ive survived a pulmonary embolism that occured right before Covid. Although Ive not had Covid ( thanknGod) I've lost my voice! It makes me so ad because I can't sing hymns or Christmas carols anymore. Or along with...well, I just can't sing period! It breaks my heart for Julie Andrews that she hasn't been able to sing for years!!! And now, Celine ... can't think of her last name. But you, dear lady, in this video, have thee voice of an angel, like Miss Julie!!!!! I hope you continue singing ALL your life and all your grandchildren's!!!! Aren't grandbabies the BEST?!?!? ❤️🙏❤️

This is so true my son used to go to sleep listening to his father play the piano! he is a principal pianist for the ballet Pacific Northwest ballet! and I would sing and we always knew we were giving him such a beautiful way to go to sleep! And he never cried when he went to bed! 😇

You are quite wrong and I thank Jesus Christ for revealing His love to me. Jesus said in Luke 18:17-"Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child, shall in no wise enter therein." We can have His love in our hearts amd we can share His love too. Read the Book of John in the New Testament of the Bible, the King James Version, you'll probably need to look up a few words, but challenging books always do that.
Nothing sweeter or more precious than babies. They bring something to this world that's like a direct gift from heaven . . . and I guess that's what they are.

I don't usually watch anything to do with babies but i did watch a couple of animals supposedly singing in the past few days so I'd say judging by that, my laptop "thought" i'd like to see a baby singing so it was recommended to me. Hope this helps.

Not just crying. I remember the very first time that I realized my son was looking at me and recognized who I was. He was about three or four weeks old. It is just so heartwarming. ❤️

I know this is true! I've had countless children stare at me, point at me and try to tell me things in their gibberish. I believe they can see my kind, loving spirit, as gifted from God, an ability we lose as we grow up.
I agree. Watching baby Alder's face convinced me that his soul remembered this song, that he knew the lyrics and wanted to sing along. I didn't know pre-birth memories were a thing until my daughter told me about her own memories from previous lives.
