I've brought my rig across the ditch after 250,000kms solo around OZ. Some of that was very remote.
Now I'm here to explore NZ.
There's lots of 4x4 cowboys around, ripping up trails, breaking shock mounts, steering arms, axles... looking for click bait video footage.
I agree with you... solo is always safety first. Carry an emergency beacon. Respect the terrain. Enjoy the drive. Always carry first aid kit, extra food, water and warm gear for when desert or highcountry camping turns cold.

It’s about middle of the road I guess
      Not bad for a V6
I’ve had worse fuel economy than the Jeep

During the summer months I’d say you would be fine , but I’d take a set of recovery tracks just in case
On the weekends in summer there are many other 4wd’s around that would surly hep you out if your in any trouble
      It’s a great track

its really good seeing all the places you have visited and shown. But have you ever sat back and thought about how many people have now visited those areas, and how those people have destroyed them. Over the Christmas and new year period there were over a hundred people per night following one of your routes and have craped in the bush, taken 4wds through areas destroying plant life cutting down trees to burn leaving rubbish so think before you post how the environment can handle extra people.

This track has been well know for many years so I don’t think we are promoting it
What we do in our videos is promote the better side of things with a bit of history and telling people to take home there rubbish and look after the track
This is a legal designated four wheel drive track after all so any one can use it
Unfortunately we can’t seem to stop the idiots that do ruin it for others
