Some extremely well said advice my friend. Hat's off to you and your caring for young people wanting to learn guitar.

If my wife is watching this video, he forgot to mention: PRS Private stock, Gibson Less Paul or a Taylor or Martin. These are the adult brands, wifey.

I bought myself an Ibanez Gio GRG121DX last month to learn on, with a Fender Mustang LT25. I think I did okay for myself! Plays really well, I just don’t play well yet lol…All in due time.

What would you recommend for a beginner 🎸 that has a wider neck (strings further apart). For someone with fat fingers?

I would look at the PRS SE 245. I don’t have personal experience, but I’ve heard good things. They have a wide neck, should be easier for you. I know Guitar Center carries them, maybe go check one out and see what you think.

    What is that amp?

When did you replace your EVH? Can I ask why? Engl Fireball was my first tube amp, it was great but lacked mods. I then had Peavey 6505, Mesa Roadster and ended up with my EVH. I wonder what made you get rid of it...

I still have my EVH. It’s on the Mesa Cab behind me. Love that amp and I have a EVH combo beside it.

@@jordansguitarchannel3809 You should do a comparison video - same guitar, same mic setup - showcase the two amps. I honestly always thought the Fireball (the OG 60 Watt Head) was like a bit tighter, more polished, but also more mid-scooped version of the EVH EL34 Red channel. They both sound pissed off in the same way, have those snarling harmonics, but the EVH gain sounded more "hairy", which I prefer. I also find it to be more versatile (love how the blue channel responds to different boosts) and less scooped. What do you think?

Stay tuned bro. I seriously just got the equipment to do just such a video. I’m testing it as we speak!
