I remember sitting in the kitchen watching the closing to "Y&R with my grandmother during the summer months. I wasn't allowed to talk until after the theme went off. I may have been a about 5 years old, but the them song made you want to cry right along with the show. lol I miss those summer afternoons.
It totally bugs me that he didn't say it at the end! By the way, when people are dramatic at work, I say "Join Us Again...for The Young and the Restless" in the style of Bern Bennett!
That CBS Television City taping credit-- Y&R has been done there since it started on 3/26/73, using 41 and 43 (TPIR using 33, a.k.a. the Bob Barker Studio), and as long as it lasts, will continue to be done from Television City.
I miss Jeannie Hackett on the thir 50th anniversary of the y&r 2023 I want her to come back because it thir 50th anniversary of the young and the restless
