You could tell throughout the film that he wasn't a bad guy at all. He was just being controlled by Hopper and even at times disagreed with his decision making. Once he saw that his brother is gone, he figured he could start over. Good for him.

That's how film characters work first when the character tells a story about him or herself they start out as some hated or unwanted character but in the end they defeat a villain and everyone adores them
1:30 when I was a kid I always thought the rock meant something. Like the rock was the circus bugs way of saying thanks to the ants. Then I thought that it meant that the ants were now strong and unbreakable, like the rock itself. I have a strong hunch now, that that's what the rock meant.
Actually, it was because when Flik was banished from Ant Island, Dot reminded him of "the seed growing into a tree" meaning he motivated her about growing up.
There is hope, this movie does have a legacy and eventually pixar is going to have to stop ignoring this movie and it's possibility for continuation, look if puss on boots and megamind can get a sequel then a bug's life can certainly get a sequel, IF the sequel is a masterpiece boom a bug's life is a juggernaut of animation and merchandise once again, dont give up hope guys it can happen.

Antz has a more ambitious allusion, one to government corruption specifically a commentary on capitalism. A Bug's Life is also about government corruption, but in relation to racism. I think they are both very good and A Bug's Life definitely focus' on characters more, Antz is more focused on its commentary about government than it is on the actual story.
Following Flik's revelations, the Ant Island, a massive attack, was left with peace and full of harvest. Hopper is devoured by the birds to his death, while Molt becomes the new member of the circus bugs, and Thumper and the other grasshoppers returns to their hideout in disgrace. Hopper's conspiracy had been a failure, and precipitated the downfall of the Grasshoppers organization.
Hercules was my first ever movie I saw in theaters, this movie was my third also my first PIXAR film, I was born in 1995 the year Toy Story was released.
This would have to be one of the best happy endings ever. Flik is now respected by the ant colony, Heimlich got to be a butterfly, Molt gets a dream career with the circus and Atta is now the queen.
As P.T is leaving Ant Island, he must be thinking "It feels good to have my troupe back together again, and even better, we've saved an ant colony from bothersome grasshoppers and got new circus members as a reward."

Toy Story will get a fourth movie. Cars will get a third movie. Monsters Inc. has a prequel. Finding Nemo has a sequel, and now the Incredibles will get a sequel. I want a Bug's Life 2, that movie seems like a forgotten PIXAR film.

At least they should give A Bug's Life a prequel on how the ants end up becoming enemies with the grasshoppers and being under their control, along with a short of the circus bugs meeting first meeting each other
Yeah but this is a story about standing up against bullies and now they are no longer being bullied, and even if another bully could show up, they will stanf up against it so it would be hard to make a sequel eithout being The Jungle Book 2 all over again. Understand?
Actually, Molt is too much of a goody two-shoes notice such a thing. I mean, if you look back from wherever in the story, if Hopper ever said anything cruel and hurtful to his brother, Molt would just smile like the idiot he is because he always runs his mouth about things he should not. And Hopper mentions how he has a resentful grudge against their late mother's promise to not kill Molt.
He probably did notice and hes happy that hes free! So he decides to join the circus. But speaking of which, how come he still around when they scared the grasshoppers off?
The final ending music was different in the original workprint and PS1 video game of this film. They used the final track to the film "Far and Away" (1992), starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, and music composed by John Williams (Star Wars. ET, Indiana Jones, Jurrasic Park, etc). The track also heard in some "Treasure Planet" trailers.
I think they should consider doing like a TV Series for A Bugs Life. As much as I would like a second movie I think a TV Series would be better because I feel like they could do so much with these characters. One of the problems with that it could be extremely hard because you would have to get the original voice actors back and some have passed away and some may have retired.
What’s so cool about Bug’s Life and Toy Story is how big and epic the stories feel when in actuality, like the zoom out and the end shows, it is a tiny scale. But it still feels big and awesome.

Molt is sure to be a promising addition to P.T. Flea's troupe, especially seeing that he's the only grasshopper left from Hopper's gang. I wonder if he's going to miss his late brother? If Hopper were still alive, what are the chances that P.T. would've employed him as well? Not very likely, because P.T. probably wouldn't want anything to do with a tyrannical fiend like him. But, on the other hand, P.T. would probably consider Hopper to be a great candidate to play a villain in one of his circus acts, especially because he has all the prime qualities of one. In addition, Hopper would say to P.T. "You'll have to get used to my little brother, Molt, he's really quite chatty. The trick is getting him to know when to be quiet."
"And, so with Hopper's demise, came the end of the grasshoppers' tyranny forever. The ants, now filled with hope and grains, could now live in peace without threat of intimidation ever again. The circus bugs bid their farewells as Atta was crowned the New Queen, passing her tiara onto her little sister, Dot, who motivated Flik to come home. Flik became a legend within the colony as his inventions skyrocketed in popularity for the harvesters. Molt is sure to be a promising addition to P.T. Flea's troupe, especially seeing that he's the only grasshopper left from Hopper's gang. I wonder if he's going to miss his late brother? If Hopper were still alive, what are the chances that P.T. would've employed him as well? Not very likely, because P.T. probably wouldn't want anything to do with a tyrannical fiend like him. But, on the other hand, P.T. would probably consider Hopper to be a great candidate to play a villain in one of his circus acts, especially because he has all the prime qualities of one. In addition, Hopper would say to P.T. "You'll have to get used to my little brother, Molt, he's really quite chatty. The trick is getting him to know when to be quiet."
