As P.T is leaving Ant Island, he must be thinking "It feels good to have my troupe back together again, and even better, we've saved an ant colony from bothersome grasshoppers and got new circus members as a reward."

Accusations were thrown around that the one stole the same idea from the other due to how similar both films were and it was ugly. It seemed like both studios didn't want to risk reigniting a conflict like that so they most likely decided to not make sequels to those films and I'd even argue movies focusing on insects. What a shame too as both were good to watch.
I think they should consider doing like a TV Series for A Bugs Life. As much as I would like a second movie I think a TV Series would be better because I feel like they could do so much with these characters. One of the problems with that it could be extremely hard because you would have to get the original voice actors back and some have passed away and some may have retired.

I mean, if you look back from wherever in the story, if Hopper ever said anything cruel and hurtful to his brother, Molt would just smile like the idiot he is because he always runs his mouth about things he should not. And Hopper mentions how he has a resentful grudge against their late mother's promise to not kill Molt.

The portrayal of ants in this movie is nothing like they are in real life. Real life ants in an aggressive matriarchal society where the male ants have no rights and are basically used as sex slaves for the queen. Either that, or the more wild, jungle type ants are agressive, bloodthirsty warriors still ruled by a Queen, but the bigger males literally do not fear god and will literally seek out smaller ant colonies to go to war with and conquer
I know Hopper was the bad guy but Tuck and Roll are playing with an amputated part of his body that they ripped off. It's like something that Ed Gein would do.
Molt is sure to be a promising addition to P.T. Flea's troupe, especially seeing that he's the only grasshopper left from Hopper's gang. I wonder if he's going to miss his late brother? If Hopper were still alive, what are the chances that P.T. would've employed him as well? Not very likely, because P.T. probably wouldn't want anything to do with a tyrannical fiend like him. But, on the other hand, P.T. would probably consider Hopper to be a great candidate to play a villain in one of his circus acts, especially because he has all the prime qualities of one. In addition, Hopper would say to P.T. "You'll have to get used to my little brother, Molt, he's really quite chatty. The trick is getting him to know when to be quiet."
"And, so with Hopper's demise, came the end of the grasshoppers' tyranny forever. The ants, now filled with hope and grains, could now live in peace without threat of intimidation ever again. The circus bugs bid their farewells as Atta was crowned the New Queen, passing her tiara onto her little sister, Dot, who motivated Flik to come home. Flik became a legend within the colony as his inventions skyrocketed in popularity for the harvesters. Atta and Flik were wedded the next day, and in time, gifted the colony its next generation of kin. As for Molt? His stand-up is a hit in the tent!"

What’s so cool about Bug’s Life and Toy Story is how big and epic the stories feel when in actuality, like the zoom out and the end shows, it is a tiny scale. But it still feels big and awesome.

What’s so cool about Bug’s Life and Toy Story is how big and epic the stories feel when in actuality, like the zoom out and the end shows, it is a tiny scale. But it still feels big and awesome.
