What would you do when you think no one is watching? What Would You Do? (WWYD?) explores the varying answers with the help of hidden cameras capturing individuals who have been placed within seemingly everyday situation that quickly go ary. The individuals on this hidden camera show are forced to make tough calls when directly faced with situations of racism, violence, hate crimes, and other hot button cultural issues. Catch John Quinones reporting on these individuals as they make split-second decisions to intervene or mind their own business. WWYD? airs Friday nights at 9|8c on ABC.
What Would You Do? (WWYD) is a hidden camera show, hosted by ABC News correspondent John Quinones, in which unknowing bystanders are placed in uncomfortable, and often compromising real world scenarios in public. WWYD’s hidden cameras focus on the average person’s responses and reactions to these issues of social responsibility. Topics such as gay couples being affectionate in public, date rape, racism and racial profiling, interracial couples, abusive parents, drunk driving, and harassment of the homeless are touched upon in this series. What will you do? Would you choose to intervene in these situations? Watch and join the discussion.

@Quintin Bey We don't have to be colorblind and shouldn't be, in my opinion. We should celebrate our differences and we have to work together to hold up the oppressed for equality and fairness. Maybe this is made for white tv, but it may give awareness or educate. Learning more about the things I don't know is important. ❤️

Well, Islam is the second-most followed religion in the world (Christianity being first-most followed), but that's besides my point. You should respect people's beliefs, even if they aren't the same as yours, because while you don't agree with them, it doesn't mean you can be discriminatory. Maybe instead if acting like a rambunctious degenerate on the internet, you could have a meaningful debate with someone, and learn a bit more open-mindedness. Just a suggestion.

I've told this story many times: When I was 14 and on a city bus in Philadelphia, coming home from high school, we got to a part of the trip where I was the only white kid and there were about 8 or 10 black kids who were my age or older in the back. And they started throwing raisins and spitballs at me while laughing and calling out names. I know that the roles have been reversed many times in history. With much worse outcomes, but I had no idea where this was going to go and, honestly, I was scared. They just kept going and started calling out for me to respond. Just then, the only other person on the bus, a black woman who was easily in her 60s or even early 70s stood up and said, "Stop that!" Then she turned to face all of them and said, "You should be ashamed of yourselves. Where is your dignity? What do you want to teach this boy about yourselves?" And on and on. They sat silent, guilty, ashamed. Then she came over and sat down across the aisle from me and said, "I'm sorry about that, son. You're going to be fine, nothing to worry about." And she stayed there until I got off the bus. I've never forgotten that. What a good, decent human being. And a lesson for me too. This isn't about skin color. At least, it doesn't have to be. It's about decency to fellow human beings. Either you're part of the problem or you're the inspiration. You choose.

Never had any adult intervened. They simply watched. Racism isn’t a one way street. I never bothered anyone. I never some. I kept to myself. My fault was that I was a white boy traveling through a predominantly black Roxbury community.

I've had many people, not only family, but friends as well that have asked if I planned to move out of the neighborhood and I've always had the same answer "No." Why should I move if I love the place, The food is amazing, the people are fantastic and it just feels like there is an air of positivity anywhere I go. I go to a black barbershop (Honestly it's the closest one and the other is a 50 minute walk and I don't have any transportation.) and I've never had anyone look at me funny or be rude in any way shape or form. Black people have endures WAY MORE than white that is a fact!! What is also fact is that there are more Black people pushing positivity and love than hate for white people i.e look how many beautiful black women have married and had children with white men and vice versa? @esemceX the behavior has many theory definitions, it's also called group-think, but I wouldn't call it a natural behavior in groups, it depends on a lot of factors whether or not one or more in a group behaves with hostility and exclusion towards others🤓

Wow. YOU are truly the misguided person Full of hate, bias, prejudice. Somehow I feel sorry for you. Most of the time I don't care for right wing Trumpists or people with racial prejudice, but you somehow come up as bitter or brainwashed. I am more of a man of the middle, sometimes leaning a bit to the left, other times to the right. But what buggers me is extremism in every way. My Country has and had his fair share of extremism of both the left (GDR Communist Dictatorship) and the right (Nazi Germany). I myself am German with Asian and Dutch Ancestors. Maybe that is the reason for my worldview. But what I don't get is the " Other Voices are silenced" thing from the far left or right. History proves one thing, Extremists are the first to blare out ' Our Voices are not heard" and the first to kill off or silence those who criticize them.
