A fellow lawny and hopefully add a respectful 'however'. When mowing on a 40C day, take note, that rotary mowers will get hot. Do not leave the rotary mower in the one position for any length of time (no more than 5 seconds). By the time the blades get up to another 10-15C hotter than the ambient temperature, it can bake the lawn (as heat soaks down from the engine plus friction on the blades).

Hi Matt, re: Moist, are there times you would do additional applications of it outside of the program times? Cheers

Matt, if someone doesn’t opt for the syringe watering and relies on their deep watering once a week - do u think a great condition buffalo lawn would do fine? Or would u still recommend a good water in the late arvo after those ‘very’ hot days for the extra help?

I’d do a morning and arvo light water. Buff hides the soil a bit better but honestly. On a cranking hot day, give the lawn its best chance I reckon.
