- "Sweet Georgia Brown, Darktown Strutter's Ball, Five foot Two, Bye Bye Blues, and Twelfth Street Rag", all played in the style of Mr. Lenny Dee, Decca Recording Star organist and Entertainer, and my old friend and mentor.....the way he played them, on his Hammond model "A", at Lenny Dee's Den in St. Petersburg, Florida, right down the street from me.....where we made lots of organ music for the people who loved it. Never forget Lenny Dee.....The Legend!

Great, Mike! Love your playing!
My daily Hamm and Mike fix.
Mr. Mike, I'm sure Lenny Dee would be very proud to here this....
Spot on Maestro Reed. The right organ for the job, and most definitely the right organist. Lenny would be proud.
thanks, Keith.....I was just in a Lenny Dee frame of mind, so let 'er rip, I thought! By the way, there is a FACEBOOK page on Lenny Dee's Den, where he used to play.....check it out!!! and thanks, my friend! :0)
So many memories, mom and uncles Marvin and Bob playing all of these.
I play but miss them all.
I would love to hear her shout out, play Up a Lazy River, again.
Transports me back to a 1950s roller rink
@@xxvvkx9312 My roller rink played the 50s and 60s bubble gum pop. Lol
We went to school with the owners 4 boys and girl so it was really fun.
I took up skating again in 2010 for a few yrs. Still had it after a few days of practice but wore wreck pads on knees, hands, and elbows.
Found a pair of padded under garment that worked great for butt falls till I got my roller feet back.
Got up to 1.5 jumps and all kinds of backwards and turns but after awhile got tired of adults talking but the old guy so haven't been in awhile. It's not fun just going in a circle or backwards.
I'm like a skateboard skater !
The same family still own the rinks around here and Amarillo.
The dad was even still alive and skating great but had cancer last I checked.
He was still skating at nearly 90 and backwards !

Great!! I love "The Alley cat" played by Lenny Dee. I have a DECCA Album with his autograph on it.
Excellent
Once again, Dee Lightful :>) Never had the pleasure of meeting Lenny Dee in person but own quite a few of his albums. So fortunate to have "met" you through you-tube & get the chance to see you perform your many Talents.
Songs always to be associated to the late Lenny, thanks.
Just loving your music Mike👌🥰
Yes, the great Lenny Dee. A good thing is they edited his older work (maybe his best ?) on CD (Yasmine records and others). This man is unforgettable in the organ world. I will always cherish the albums and cd's in my collection of organ music. What I hear here on youtube is almost a re-birth of Lenny, played by another giant of the Hammond. Thank you Mike.
Sooooo perfect! Bless you Mike for this wonderful video honoring Lenny Dee. His recordings inspired me to learn music and make it my career. He was a treasure and your DEElightful videos warm my heart immeasurably
I always listen to your channel in the evening right after dinner! Keep it up, Mike, you bring a lot of joy to us old timers!
Fantastic! I loved the internal Leslies, I just wish they sped up as quick as a cabinet.
Wow!! Just wow! Immaculate performance Mike, I've not played an organ in years but by shots i'm so tempted to go buy another miss the buzz, thanks for sharing 👌
Yeah, as if Lenny Dee is playing once again!
Beautifully played.
