- Cosy winters call for a hot and spicy roll - and what’s better than a Seekh Kebab Kathi Roll which is super easy to put together? This recipe uses @continentalgreenbird plant-based Chicken-like Seekh Kebabs which are created to minimise food-related emissions.
Ingredients:
For the vegan seekh kebabs:
1 pack of Greenbird plant-based Chicken-like Seekh Kebabs
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
For assembling the kathi rolls:
Vegan tortillas/ Malabar Parothas/ Roomali Rotis
Sliced onions, beetroots, and lettuce (or your preferred salad greens)
Home-made green chutney
Vegan mayonnaise
Method:
Step 1. Preheat the pan to cook the Greenbird plant-based Seekh kebabs, until they are cooked and slightly charred.
Step 2. While the kebabs are cooking, prepare your kathi roll fillings. Slice the onions, beetroots, and lettuce, and gather your preferred sauces or condiments.
Step 3. Once the kebabs are done, set them aside.
Step 4. Warm the vegan tortillas or flatbreads on a skillet or quick heat in your microwave.
Step 5. To assemble the kathi rolls, place a warmed tortilla on a plate, spread vegan mayonnaise and green chutney on it.
Step 6. Add the sliced onions, beetroots, and lettuce, then place a couple of kebabs in the centre.
Step 6. Roll the tortilla tightly to form a wrap.
