- LAST EPISODE | Today we are checking out one of the most creative and amazing projects within Super Mario Maker 2. And that my friends is "Super 1-1 World" made by Warspyking. This 8 world, 40 level super world features 40 levels of the iconic 1-1 from Super Mario Bros...except that every level has a unique twist!

I cannot stress enough how happy your playthrough has made me, DGR. From a pure entertainment point watching it was a ton of fun, both on twitch and youtube, but you've also done so much to highlight this super world to other people. There were countless kind words in twitch chat, and now the youtube comment sections. It's truly made the effort that went into this feel appreciated. I never imagined you would even play this, let alone put out six videos on youtube! Thank you for everything you have done :)

Great work on all this. Several are above my skill level, but it was a lot of fun to watch DGR go through it. These were some really creative ideas.
The irony of this super world is it is all about diversity. Every level showcases a completely different mechanic/dynamic of the game. Funny enough a super world that is all the same level is one of the most unique worlds that many of us have seen! Great job!
Wow this guy even had the dedication to get 11 easy clears, 11 normal clears, 11 expert clears, be 1/1 in multiplayer vs and be 1/1 in multiplayer coop.

I didn't even notice that...the pain he must've been in.... No wonder he was salty lol
Green screen drops on completion = There is at least an hour of cut footage :)
He never loses lives on that level though, I think he must have played another level in between.
If I recall correctly, he gave up and moved on to the painful level, then when I showed up he switched back to the flight level and asked me for advice.
The lives seem to stay at either 99 or 09, so there's something strange going on anyway...
I still can’t wrap my head around the level of creativity someone has to have to create a super world all inspired in 1-1😨

@@B0ssguy Likely never, I'm not opposed to a follow-up, and while 1-2 is the popular request, I feel 1-2 is much less versatile than 1-1. We'll see what the future brings, I suppose.

Nah, too much non-Nintendo mandated fun. They'd sooner take the Super World down than hire warspy, look at Abotun World.

I’d call this series “Man slowly looses his mind playing first level of Mario” but “Ever Level is 1-1, Except...” is also accurate, easy to search, and overall fits with the general theme of the super world. Great video, glad you stuck it out to the end. Was fun to watch you work through things 😊

This series really emphasised how timeless 1-1 is if it can be turned into countless torturous levels xD. In all seriousness, I will miss this series; one of the best Super Worlds I've watched on RUclips and I always looked forward to the shenanigans that would transpire each week. Shout out to Warskyking for creating this masterpiece!
How does Dave fail so many times to silly mistakes and then his first run is his best until he gets a flawless end run
My guess is that Dave changes his strategy on his subsequent tries because he knows what is coming in the level which causes him to mess up more on the next run.
Don't know, but the same thing often happpens to me, as well.

His control on not swearing is impeccable.
It is impressive. But, I don't know why he doesn't just let loose and say the channel is for adults, since any kids watching are likely to have already heard those words anyway. But then any parents overhearing would not be happy. I guess you want the widest audience you can muster, and family-friendly is the way to do it.

This was quite a journey...funny, fun, dramatic, intense, and rewarding! Glad you enjoy Mario Maker still so much! We are not gonna talk about how long that flight course took him. I watched this stream live and I think it took a good almost two hours or so
DGR, you play so casually that it is easy to forget how skilled you are at this game until you play a level that requires skill.

I have been a subscriber on this channel for a long time, but never really watched your videos, ashamed to say. Was just a casual viewer occasionally. This series, however, renewed my interest in your channel and I have not only looked forward to each new entry, but also started going back and watching a bunch of your older and other new videos. So if anything, this series as renewed the interest of an old fan!
This has been, along with the TROLLED series, the best series of videos Dave has ever put on. Like, legit. Usually, I just add the new videos to my "Watch Later" list and watch them eventually as I catch up gradually. But, this, when I watched the first video in my Watch Later PL, I skipped the videos to watch the other entries because it was SO GOOD. After, it was an immediate click on the episode. Not an add to Watch Later. That rocked. Hopefully we see 1-2 or SMB3's 1-1. Heck, even SML 1-1 or The Lost Levels 1-1. Cheers.

Dear god that was hell. Took one of the easiest levels and made a whole world of hell from it. Some of those ideas were incredible.

What great 1-1s. The only thing I can say they missed is that the original 1-1 has a checkpoint in it that’s invisible (every level in Mario 1 does) which was absent here for most 1-1s. Who cares though, this is such an interesting and creative idea.
