Beside the way there is one special level with higher difficulty and special ideas. It unlocks the toad house. The difficulty is at the beginning easy but to the end it gets medium hard. That first level was, like he said, made for 3 players, the first person to each section had an easier path, then second got the second, and if you were last, you had to go up the pipe for the 3rd and most annoying path
