      Double check all your electrical connections on the alternator and make sure the battery health is good. My hope is it's just something wasn't plugged back in. 🤞

    Hello what is the size for the bottom manifold exhaust? I dont know whether i should get m10 1.50 x 52mm or m10 1.25 x 42mm?

      I can't remember what pitch (1.5 vs 1.25) that ended up working for me, but I would buy both and then return the size you ended up not using. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and good luck! 👍

    No welding necessary for the catalytic converter?

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  Год назад

      Nope, should bolt right up! Thanks for watching! 👍

    How's that manifold been hold up ?

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  3 года назад +2

      It's been holding up great! No more exhaust fumes on the inside and no check engine lights. This exhaust manifold was definitely worth it!
      Thank you so much for watching!

      @@TrickShiftGarage no prob 👍 I got a 2012 with 96k. I think the manifold has a small crack in it so I gotta see if it's weldable

      We had a small crack around the welds too, welding is definitely a possible fix. One of these days I'll learn to weld haha!

    Dude..I just went to the dealer, and these cheeseheads wanted to charge me 3500 bucks...lolol...can you believe that....who in their right mind would pay that much to pay for an exhaust...lolll

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  2 года назад +1

      Wow Mike! That's crazy! Was that the total price for parts and labor?!
      I think my whole exhaust cost about $700 and it took one weekend to replace, hell of a lot cheaper 😂

      @@TrickShiftGarage
      Yea boss man. That was parts and labor. What kills me is that they throw out a price like that and literally expect one to pay it. 3500 bucks is the cost of replacing a transmission o engine swap. To take off a few bolts and an exhaust manifold shouldn't cost that much. Even if the parts was 1000 bucks, to charge someone 2000 for labor is absurd. Originally my car was throwing a p0421 and p0420 so I know it's the exhaust. The only reason I had them check it was because I didn't wanna go in there replacing stuff that wasn't necessary to replace. They said the O2 sensors were working but said there was some type of "block" in the exhaust line. So I told the guy are you sure that only replacing the exhaust manifold and gasket will solve this issue. He said it would. So like you, ill buy the exhaust manifold and gasket, and put it in. It doesn't look too complicated. I'm sure it'll take a few hours but not days and not with 1000s worth of parts. I'm really confused at how these service departments stay in business with prices like that...its insane..Anyway, your cool. Your videos are awesome. Thank you for your time and response...best regards.
