I'd love to see a company combine the ability to use a 3D scanner , CAD software and a 3D printer. That way you could have 3D scanned the original part to get the beginning dimensions, made your modifications based on the original parts to achieve your design and then sent that right to the printer.
Overall, I am pretty sure your modification made a difference in optimizing airflow into the GPU. I know for certain it made an interesting video to me!

Into an all in one thing? If it's good enough quality. One can certainly do all these things independently and combine them. Cleaning up 3D scanned models is the time consuming part.
