The isopropyl alcohol is probably completely or mostly evaporated. It is likely included as a solvent in the process of formulating (the chemistry part) and isn’t even intended to be in the final formulation to any significant amount. The inclusion of it in the ingredient list would be for completeness, but can freak people out if they’re being told they must avoid all drying alcohols or else their hair will be dry. The short story is to trust that the chemists formulating these products do so with consumer satisfaction in mind, therefore are not going to make a drying product that would be negative for the brand.
This shampoo is the first thing that has worked for my curls in terms of shampoo and conditioner! I used it followed with a bit of the bread gel from last month for styling and my hair immediately looked different even when wet and the results are totally different (in a good way) than when I styled with other shampoo and conditioner combos.
The Trader Joe’s Hair Wash is $4.99 and a very affordable way to try out cream cleansing before spending more on New Wash. I think New Wash is a more high end experience, but the TJ version could be an entry point to test if it works for you.
I love this stuff. I use it about once per week, usually on a day that my thin hair isn’t super oily. If I haven’t washed in a few days, my hair is very oily and I like to use a regular shampoo.

Trader Joe’s Hair Wash is $4.99 and while I prefer the high-end experience of New Wash, the TJ version is actually really good.

According to the brand, no! But of course, always listen to what your hair needs!
So, it really doesn't save money by one product. You have to use twice the amout.
