It's a really great night ride but I prefer Skyrush, Storm Runner, and Lightning Racer. Even as far as B&M hypers go, I don't even think Candymonium makes my top 5.
I almost have the same list... 1- Storm Runner 2-Candy 3-Skyrush (only because of Thighcrush, would probably be #2 maybe even #1) 4-Fahrenheit 5-GB. Can't wait for put RMC Wildcat into that list!
I went to HersheyPark for one day during Labor Day weekend and while it was crowded (I did have Fast Track) and they don't have the MOST number of coasters out there, similar to Dollywood and Silver Dollar City, the variety and consistency in their coaster collection is rock solid. I'd put rides like Lightning Racer, Storm Runner, Skyrush, and Fahrenheit right up there with any of their coaster counterparts and they'd easily be in the top 10. HersheyPark may not have any one, massive stand-out coaster that I'd say is world class, but everything is just so well-rounded as a collection, that it really makes up for it.
Great video and really good comparison to Kings Island. Isn't Hershey landlocked? I have not been and it is my number 1 bucket list park in the us. What I love so much about Kings island is their elite top 5 lineup and how they have only used about 50% of the land that they own.
There’s land to grow for Hershey. They have land out past Candymonium. They just bought an old golf course that bordered the park. They have a massive amount of flat parking lot that could be replaced by a parking garage in the future to make for more space.
@@TheJimwilt20 That is awesome to hear! As I said I have not been to this park but it looks awesome! I know some people dont like Candymonium but I love B&M Hypers so I cant wait to ride that coaster. They seem to have such a unique and balanced lineup that adding an RMC to the mix might make it the most balanced lineup of any theme park
Hersheypark is my homepark. I actually agree with your list to an extent lol. I'll push skyrush to number 3 leading with Candymonium at number 2 and Stromrunner at number 1. I like Fahrenheit alot but omg that waite time is horrible! Beacuse of that its my number 5, Great Bear is my number 4. And with Great Bear, the reason for that helix in the beginning is beacuse, they didn't have the room to fit it during the course as you can see its pretty tightly packed in that part of the park. It's almost a terrain invert coaster, almost. Hershey has a great lineup of coasters, the problem the park is facing is lack of room lol. But now they have the new section of park in the frount we will see what they will do.
Honestly I wouldn't say the lineup is underrated, because literally everyone I hear who talks about this lineup always say it's underrated and how no one talks about it. Which is kind of ironic.
Believe it or not, I got a back row wing seat ride on Skyrush, and still have Fahrenheit over it. In fact, Fahrenheit is my number one ever, over STEEL VENGEANCE.
I’m a Jersey guy, so I grew up with Great Adventure, but Hershey has always been pretty close too…for top 5 I would go 1) Skyrush 2) Candymonium 3) Storm Runner 4) Great Bear and 5) Fahrenheit. All awesome rides, storm runner was just a bit too short but I understand why you would have it at 1, it’s a great ride. Definitely one of the best parks in the country.
I love Hershey. It's my home park. I went there every year growing up and watched as it became this. I definitely agree its underrated, and I LOVE their line up, but in a direct comparison I don't think it shines a candle to CP: SteVe > RMC Wildcat Maverick > Fahrenheit TTD > Storm Runner Millenium Force > Candymonium ValRavn > Great Bear I don't feel like there's anything that compares well with Skyrush. Its a gem, I just wish they would unload on the opposite side of the platform. Ops are so neutered because the ride platform has to empty before they can open the air gates. This comment got away from me. GO TO BOTH PARKS PEOPLE
I don't think I've ever heard this park being called underated. Honestly, even without rmc wildcat, I think this is a top 3 park in terms of coasters right behind cedar point and sfmm. Skyrush is easily the best coaster in the park, and I feel u with only having 1 ride on it not in the back row, I wasn't blown away with my 1st ride as it was also somewhere in the middle, but the back is a completely different experience. And that's not taking away from the rest of the lineup as well, just so many good solid rides at this park, it's quanity and quality which only a few other parks can claim.. I've only been to 2 major parks, sfgadv and hershey (my 1st visit this year), and I like hershey more already, and rmc wildcat is just gonna make this parks already incredible lineup even better.
@@ThemeParkAvenue yeah, I have never heared anyone call hershey underated. I've always seen hershey as 1 of the best coaster parks not even in the country, but the world
It's so annoying that you and everybody else who has keep referencing CP and KI. Y'all want Hershey to be in competition with them so bad lol. Btw CP top 6 > HP top 6
Well... I went to CP in 2018 and in Hersheypark last June. CP has a better lineup, nothing to argue here. Hersheypark's atmosphere and overall look is way better IMO. The fact is, HP is upgrading while CP is degrading. I just hope CP will do something good with TTD because the park is disappointing since SteVe. We now waiting for Wildcat and TTD updates. If there's a competition between these parks, we should be happy about it because it might mean more world class coasters...!
1. SkyRush
2. Storm Runner
3. Fahrenheit
4. Candymonium
5. Great Bear
6. Laff Trakk
7. Comet
8. Lightning Racer
9. SooperDooperLooper
Meanwhile there’s me who thinks Candymonium is the best ride there by a decent margin…
It's a really great night ride but I prefer Skyrush, Storm Runner, and Lightning Racer. Even as far as B&M hypers go, I don't even think Candymonium makes my top 5.
Man why am i the only one who thinks candy is garbage
I can’t wait to go to Hersheypark for the first time!!! So excited to experience these coasters for the first time!!!

They have about twice as many as Dollywood and SDC. As for a standout, I think you could argue any of the top 3 in this video tbh

The great part of hershey, is that most everyone has a different order for their favorites! Especially with the addition of RMC wildcat on the way!
*hershey park enthusiast when you say trail blazer isn’t in the top 3 😡😡😡
Totally agree!😈🤘
Rock on!
Farenheit is a friggin great ride better than storm runner
I greatly disagree but you’re entitled to your opinion

A lot of people call it underrated, but I also here many call it one of the best so it’s interesting that many consider it underrated.

hershey is not underrated. that’s like saying cedar point is underrated. it’s been known for a while now how good it is
The fact that with wildcat’s revenge it arguably has the best lineup in the country and people are still saying it’s barely top 3 or 5 begs to differ
