Because of your videos, my daughter has fallen in love with roller coasters. She constantly asks if you have added any new videos. We leave Monday for cedar pointe, and kings island trip. Thank you so much for giving my daughter and I a common interest.
@@Okaycoasters you’ve also inspired me to make videos about roller coasters. I went to Hershey in September of 2021 and used this guide, and it worked phenomenally
It’s honestly criminal that you have 14k subs man you deserve easily 100k if not more. The effort in everything in these guides like the footage, script, and even the sheer number of tips/the knowledge you have from visiting so many times is so helpful. You have such a great channel full of good videos and tons of knowledge so please don’t stop making these
I went to back to the park 5 or 6 weeks ago to get the footage I needed to finish part 2 and did not have good luck during that trip because some of those things were closed. Im hoping to get back very soon to finish what I need.
This is such a great video! Part of me is like “stop giving away the secrets!” but the other part wants everyone to be able to enjoy this amazing park in the best way possible
This came out at the right time! My fam's heading to Hersheypark later this month and I am so hyped. Thank you for making this, it was pretty informative :)
Went to Hersheypark for the first time last year and loved it, I think 2 days at the park is a must. Unfortunately I was there in 2020, so Storm Runner and Super Dooper Looper were both closed all year, and no King Size shakes the days I was there either...all good reasons to go back!
just got back from hershey, im glad this guide came available because even after i watching it once, it was still hard to see and do everything. this park is definitely a more than one day park
My husband and I are traveling from West Virginia to Hershey next month. I've watched a bunch of Hershey videos to get ready. I've gotta say, your guide is by far the best! Thanks so much!
Your videos have always been good, no matter what, but I definitely like this peaceful and cinematic style better than the “No-nonsense guides” and the heavy metal music montages.
always thought that was half the battle, planning how your going to see and do everything. This is a great plan on how to enjoy Hershey and even like the Knoebels idea you mentioned.
Thanks for putting together this vid! Last time I went to Hershey (which was before candymonium was added so that was a while ago) I didn't do enough research and missed out on a lot of the coasters due to long lines. I'll definitely keep these tips in mind whenever my next trip may be!
I’ve been to Hersheypark a few times myself so I will say this: book it to Fahrenheit first. The ride is notorious at having a very long line because of the small trains and they often only operate 1-2. Next, hit up Storm Runner or Skyrush, as these lines tend to be the next popular areas. Skyrush tends to break down often too, and I hope they still don’t have those thigh crushing restraints
Great video man. Thanks for the tips. We went once last year for Candymonium media day and had a great day at the park, but not everything was open. This park is a gem!
I took down a Reese's king size shake in 2020. It is not possible without also getting an ice water to go with it. We had breakfast before we went to the park before noon and waited til about 4:30 for the shakes and even being pretty hungry, about 2/3 of the way through it became a job to muscle through it. My friend did not get water with his and he had to tap out halfway through. I fought the fight and won, but man was I trash for the next hour.
Thank you SO SO much for this video!! We just got back from our trip to Hershey Park last night, and it was incredible 🤩 I convinced everyone in our group to follow your tips and we had an absolute blast! You really know your stuff! Thanks again! 😀🎢🎡🍫
I was just at the park yesterday and I totally agree with all of the things you have stated in this video. I'm glad they reopened the Skyrush pathway because its such a good shortcut to that area, even though it looks Skyrush is not gonna open till next season... And also I got my FIRST EVER ride on Storm runner yesterday and the ride was literally a station wait because we just went to that area first.
Surprised that you never mentioned the park's app. It gives you quite accurate wait time estimates for all rides. You can even filter by ride type or thrill level, so if like me you prioritize the coasters, you can set it to show only those. During peak hours, I found it an indispensable tool for planning my rides, and I was able to avoid excessive waits without wasting any time walking over for line checks.
new to your channel! i have a hershey park trip planned (short but sweet, 1 day)! i’ve never been there before and i’m excited! sort of nervous going on roller coasters but im gonna try and go on candymonoium and fahrenheit!!
Love my home park. Always Hershey Park Happy!! Awesome video! To everyone who hasn't been, the mini donuts are a MUST. Trust me. Lol. Loved this video. Keep up the good work.
Although his main coaster plan is good it’s bad if you have the sweet start. If you have the sweet start, do as he says except after you ride sky rush go over to the bridge near dispatch pizzeria right next to super duper looper. This bridge will only open when sweet start ends. As soon as that happens, RUN to great beat so you can get a front row seat otherwise you wouldn’t be able to do so for the rest of the day. After this I recommend getting to Fahrenheit as that fills up quickly and lastly storm runner. After this just go around that park and ride anything you want
Love this series of videos. I’d love to see your ultimate guide on busch gardens williamsburg. I tried and could not fit everything into one day. It’s massive 🤣🤣🤣
Great to have another okaycoasters video out, but I got a HERSHEY’S AD BEFORE THE VIDEO!! ik the algorithm probably did that on purpose but cmon that’s cool
Wow, thank you SO much for your dedication to put this together for us!!! You're awesome for this! Everything was very easy to follow. I'm excited for my trip soon!
I used to work at the park almost 8 years ago as a Food associate. My advice is to not eat at places you recognize like Subway, Chic fil a, Moes. The best ice cream place by far is Waterfront creamery next to where Tidal force wave hits. Some advice is to go right next to the new Hershey Triple Towers there is something called Our Friends from the Sea make sure you check the time and get back there its an amazing dolphin and seal show. Also if you go on wave rider make sure you have swim trunks tied tight or they will come off like what happened to me.
honestly the lines are usually shorter in the summer because more rides are open and a lot of people go to the water park in the winter once i had to wait almost an hour for lightning races but in the summer it was a walk on
funny thing actually, my group (4 people) managed to get on a decent amount of rides with each only having about a 30-40 minute wait (not including flat rides)... that was up until about 4pm, me and someone else got off, all 4 of us went to get on trailblazer, and the line was about a 5 hour wait from the looks of it...
Hopefully Skyrush opens up soon again. For those that don't know the lift cable snapped. Legend at Holiday World also valleyed and is closed until next week
About to visit for the first time later this month. This video is outdated, but I would have somebody slap me if I got there at open and headed straight for Comet or Looper. If I'm there early, I'm headed for Storm Runner & Fahrenheit. I would say Wildcats Revenge and Skyrush, but I don't want to ride the top rides right away.
I agree but the last two years have been heartbreaking for visitors going to Knoebels with Flying Turns closed for a efficiency makeover at the end of the ride and now along with many other rides closed for the lack of staffing 😕. I'd rather have Ok Coasters wait till everything is in FULL operation to do his his expert analysis on that awesome working historic ride museum .
Thank you for sharing!! How are the lines? Do you recommend the Fast track? We are going Wednesday and don’t know if we really need them … Can you please answer ASAP Thank you!!!

Hello from across the pond 🇬🇧! Hersheypark is on my bucket list! Hopefully one day 🤞🏻
On my last visit, Candymonium had absolutely no line from like 3:00-5:30pm. So you might be able to get all your rides then.
I was at hershey all day today the same day u posted this. Had an epic day lines not to bad!
Always my favourite park reveiws. Awesome production values.

You should really get to cedar point soon before the parade they do is over. It's such a beautiful event which will happen again in 50 years (200)

Pricy but clean park. Not a bad selection of rides. Food is edible. Smells wonderful at certain sections. Good park. Better than Dorney or Knoebels.
