    Hey Huss! First and foremost, I hope you and the whole family are back to 100% health real soon. A healthy Hussey is a happy (and hungry) Hussey. The best Blackstone cook on the planet needs all his energy to crank out these wonderful meals. And I'll bet that hurtin' you put on the Duke boys made ya feel just a little bit better. ;)
    Love those marinated chicken breasts, brother. They are so nice to have ready to roll in the fridge for a fast meal or a quick snack. And the beauty of the marinade is that you can change it up a million ways. I love the amount of black pepper you put in there. The ol' Unicorn sure pumps it out! And you just showed those lemons who's BOSS! You been doing those grip exercises again, son?!? Hoo'boy!
    Great to have you back again. All the best to you and the family. Be well.

    So, my wife got me a Blackstone griddle for Christmas (28" portable because we camp). I never really cooked that much on a griddle before and was looking for ideas. I just made your recipe tonight. I'm not kidding when I tell you that I took two bites and started laughing, it was so damned good! That was incredible! I served the chicken over pasta tossed in olive oil, butter, garlic, salt, lemon pepper and a little Cajun seasoning. Tremendous man!
    So, you're now my go to guy for ideas. Your talent is much appreciated, especially for someone just starting to really get into cooking on a griddle.

    Greetings from Hootersville, NC (Huntersville). Great recipe! I nixed all the salt after my first trial, so much sodium in the chicken powder, adding salt was kinda too much, besides the lemon juice gives a salt perception to food anyway. Keep up the good work!

    I find it better to do the chicken on the blackstone since you dont lose the marinate through the grill. The chicken is very tender even after a couple of days.

      Grilled chicken is usually dry and not much taste. I have found the blackstone corrects both problems for me. Also teriyaki pork chops are amazing on the blackstone. Should try sometime if you haven’t already.

    Just got a 22” adventure ready grill, so, I searched “easy blackstone recipes” and this came up. Mind you, I haven’t eaten meat in over three years. But I still cook it for my family. So, I followed your recipe, brought it into the kitchen, and the smell was driving me bonkers. Like I said, over three years, and I broke down, I just had to try them. And you know what, totally f’in worth it. 😝 thanks!!!

    ok,, scratch them lemon and use a half cup of Balsamic vinegar. You'll get a better taste.

      @thehungryhussey  5 лет назад +1

      I mean, balsamic has it's place too. I don't think you can totally throw out lemon as it has it's flavor profile too, which I like. Feel free to make it to your liking though.

    Love your videos and the way you present them and I copy them too often to count. I do have an issue with your temperatures. You always say "medium" or turn it up to "high". They are relative terms and really don't mean anything. My medium may be a lot higher or lower than yours. When I am cooking chicken I usually have the grill at about 350 F Is that medium? When you turn it up to high is that 450 F? You are broadcasting to an international audience. I am in Canada. What is "Xantham gum"? Yes I know I can Google it but it would be easier if you would say what it is. The same with certain seasonings. You prefer "XXX" but don't say if it is a BBQ seasoning or something else.

    I don’t have a cover on my grill. It is the big one. But I bought one from Walmart that covers about 4 breast filets at a time. Gotta get another one so I can cook more at a time. Again, thank you!!

    Do you ever get rubbery chicken breast? I get some sometimes, i check to make sure its up to temp, but dang its inedible sometimes. You think the quality of chicken is the issue?

    Hey. I like the way you are showing people to use a thermometer, especially with chicken, and the proper temp. And no, don't hold it so the probe is aimed at your throat, lol. Keep up the good work. Glad to hear the kids are doing better.

    I use a 64oz. mason jar and put my chicken and marinade in it and use a food saver with jar adaptor to vacuum seal the chicken and marinade together. I did this for first time yesterday and it was the juiciest and most tender chicken to date. It was short notice and only in there for a few hours if longer who knows. If you have a food saver I would like to see you try it and hear what you think if it makes a difference or not.
