Hey Huss! First and foremost, I hope you and the whole family are back to 100% health real soon. A healthy Hussey is a happy (and hungry) Hussey. The best Blackstone cook on the planet needs all his energy to crank out these wonderful meals. And I'll bet that hurtin' you put on the Duke boys made ya feel just a little bit better. ;) Love those marinated chicken breasts, brother. They are so nice to have ready to roll in the fridge for a fast meal or a quick snack. And the beauty of the marinade is that you can change it up a million ways. I love the amount of black pepper you put in there. The ol' Unicorn sure pumps it out! And you just showed those lemons who's BOSS! You been doing those grip exercises again, son?!? Hoo'boy! Great to have you back again. All the best to you and the family. Be well.
Brother! Appreciate you stopping by! Roy and his boys whipped them right out of their shoes! Feeling pretty good buddy, thanks for the concern. Have a blessed one buddy!
So, my wife got me a Blackstone griddle for Christmas (28" portable because we camp). I never really cooked that much on a griddle before and was looking for ideas. I just made your recipe tonight. I'm not kidding when I tell you that I took two bites and started laughing, it was so damned good! That was incredible! I served the chicken over pasta tossed in olive oil, butter, garlic, salt, lemon pepper and a little Cajun seasoning. Tremendous man! So, you're now my go to guy for ideas. Your talent is much appreciated, especially for someone just starting to really get into cooking on a griddle.
Love this kind of feedback brother! That's really kind of you to tell me that. I appreciate it. It's a great feeling that folks love to cook based off the videos. Here's to many more great meals my friend!
Greetings from Hootersville, NC (Huntersville). Great recipe! I nixed all the salt after my first trial, so much sodium in the chicken powder, adding salt was kinda too much, besides the lemon juice gives a salt perception to food anyway. Keep up the good work!
I have made this recipe now several times and let me tell you, it makes a chump on the griddle like me look darn good. Thanks so much for the tips, it's delicous!
Hey Hungry Hussey, we just tried our blackstone today for the 1st time...we did your marinaded chicken, it was Awsome...Good Gorceries for sure...love your chanel👍👍👍
Hey Hungry Hussey, just got my first Blackstone Griddle for a wedding gift and my best friend Ryan Bailey has me addicted to your channel. I love your videos and the food tastes phenomenal!!! Keep the vids coming man! 👍🏻👍🏻
Congrats on getting your Blackstone man! You'll love it! Appreciate your support of the channel. I like your taste in RUclips channels, but I'm not sure about your taste in friends! 😂 Take care man! If I can help in any way, let me know.
I find it better to do the chicken on the blackstone since you dont lose the marinate through the grill. The chicken is very tender even after a couple of days.
Grilled chicken is usually dry and not much taste. I have found the blackstone corrects both problems for me. Also teriyaki pork chops are amazing on the blackstone. Should try sometime if you haven’t already.
Just got a 22” adventure ready grill, so, I searched “easy blackstone recipes” and this came up. Mind you, I haven’t eaten meat in over three years. But I still cook it for my family. So, I followed your recipe, brought it into the kitchen, and the smell was driving me bonkers. Like I said, over three years, and I broke down, I just had to try them. And you know what, totally f’in worth it. 😝 thanks!!!
Guess you didn’t see the text that said “after washing my hands for the internet folks” I then proceed to use tongs and place chicken in the bag. 😊 Peep 5:45
Yes sir. I got it on the list. The chicken is good too cooked like this with the BBQ sauce I make. We'll see, I just might work this in for this week as it's a pretty easy recipe and quick one too! Stay tuned brother!
I mean, balsamic has it's place too. I don't think you can totally throw out lemon as it has it's flavor profile too, which I like. Feel free to make it to your liking though.
When he says " after washing my hands" but clearly still has a piece of chicken on his finger 🤣. I don't care either way your at home. Just found it funny
Love your videos and the way you present them and I copy them too often to count. I do have an issue with your temperatures. You always say "medium" or turn it up to "high". They are relative terms and really don't mean anything. My medium may be a lot higher or lower than yours. When I am cooking chicken I usually have the grill at about 350 F Is that medium? When you turn it up to high is that 450 F? You are broadcasting to an international audience. I am in Canada. What is "Xantham gum"? Yes I know I can Google it but it would be easier if you would say what it is. The same with certain seasonings. You prefer "XXX" but don't say if it is a BBQ seasoning or something else.
Forget about the "stupid" or "safety" police! If you got poked by that Thermo thingy, it would just say you are very well done!!! Not the bad well done... There are a lot of resources for Blackstone cooking out there.....You, HH, are the best!! Bless you, and your loved one's!
I will try this for my ladies' card night!!! Thanks for the recipe and demo. How do you keep the outside of your Blackstone so clean? Do you keep it covered all the time?
That's the first time I've seen you use a 22". I'd love to see you do something like a stir-fry on that to show that you can still cook a fairly large meal without needing the large models.
'Cause you can't starve us out and you can't make us run 'Cause we're them old boys raised on shotguns And we say grace and we say Ma'am And if you ain't into that we don't give a darn We're from north California and south Alabama And little towns all around this land
Double H, love that your measurements on ingredients are exactly like mine---eyeball!! LOL I believe you have mastered the Blackstone! Some mighty fine eatin' there.
Sorry to hear about your children’s illness, hope there better real soon. Just watched your marinaded chicken video and thought I would try it on my wife. I’ll let you know how it turns out, lol. Philip Padilla year.
outside what everybody I think you are a great teacher. I may not have a fancy as grill as yours but even on the commercial electric grill I get the same results and I am grateful of all your skits because it's helping to get to your lever. I'm only been grilling for a month and outside what anybody else think I think you can get me there. L/R
Great job my friend! I can't believe you only needed a fork to cut it, that's gotta be delicous. I just got my Blackstone over the weekend and had to do the smashburgers first, but definitely trying this for this coming weekend, can't wait! Thanks for sharing!
I always struggle with cooking chicken on a propane griddle. The outside is always burnt to a crisp and the inside is usually undercooked, even on a low setting. Frustrating.
Would you consider doing a copycat recipe from chipotle? Always wanted to make their grilled chicken! There are copycats out there, but I learn better by watching. Lol.
I know for sure that I am a sucker for some reallll good chicken!. That smaller grill is just amazing just like this chicken you made for us. Hussey keep killin it this cookin game Son!
Yay! The Huss is back! Glad everyone is on the mend. Love marinated chicken! Is "chicken powder" bouillon? For a minute there I thought it was me going out of focus🤪. Digging the "mood music" there at the end! Thanks H2! Kathi😎
Hi! It’s an instant bouillon made by Wylers. We use it in many dishes. I use that and the beef a lot. www.walmart.com/ip/Wyler-s-Chicken-Flavor-Instant-Bouillon-Powder-3-75-oz-Jar/42379775

Hey Hussey great video I live up north in NJ. I'm taking out my Blackstone for the first time this year and man that's the first recipe I'm doing. Love it.
Hey what’s going on brother man I love your videos I wish I lived next door brother I love cooking on my Black Stone and my Weber’s but I don’t do videos just like watching videos so Thank you for sharing bro... +1 subscriber. Love the family vibe and character about you. I gotta know big brother, where'd you get the griddle with the rolling top? I checked around and all the black stones seem to be...topless?
OK. I gave this one a go in my 15" cast iron skillet. Man, I tell ya, I splattered oil all over the stove. Must have used too much. I couldn't have gotten more oil on the stove if I had just poured it straight from the bottle. lol But, it turned out well. My wife loved it. Come on Blackstone griddle. Next month.
Hi Howard! Yeah, you don't need a lot of oil honestly, since the marinade has some. Just a thin coat really. I'm glad you enjoyed the marinade too my friend.
HEY MY FRIEND , that chicken looked awesome and so juicy and tender, there isn't anything better than cooking on the Blackstone grill, I absolutely love mine. I loved your marinade and the ingredients were right on point, and I think that the lemon juice just makes a marinade especially on chicken. AWESOME JOB MY FRIEND. GOD BLESS YOU.!!!!
I don’t have a cover on my grill. It is the big one. But I bought one from Walmart that covers about 4 breast filets at a time. Gotta get another one so I can cook more at a time. Again, thank you!!
Do you ever get rubbery chicken breast? I get some sometimes, i check to make sure its up to temp, but dang its inedible sometimes. You think the quality of chicken is the issue?
Great job Hussey! Me and the wife been trying to eat better. Been looking for a better way to cook up some chicken breast. Thanks!! Glad that the Hussey family is gettin better. Thanks for all the great videos. Can't wait to try these out!!
Hey. I like the way you are showing people to use a thermometer, especially with chicken, and the proper temp. And no, don't hold it so the probe is aimed at your throat, lol. Keep up the good work. Glad to hear the kids are doing better.
I use a 64oz. mason jar and put my chicken and marinade in it and use a food saver with jar adaptor to vacuum seal the chicken and marinade together. I did this for first time yesterday and it was the juiciest and most tender chicken to date. It was short notice and only in there for a few hours if longer who knows. If you have a food saver I would like to see you try it and hear what you think if it makes a difference or not.
Watched your video on marinated chicken and going to do that tonight. I love my Blackstone Grill. We have the 17" but now almost wished we had bought the 22" so we would have a cover.
I just use Italian Salad dressing.

I have made this recipe now several times and let me tell you, it makes a chump on the griddle like me look darn good. Thanks so much for the tips, it's delicous!
Great to hear my friend. Appreciate the feedback.
Made this for dinner tonight and used chicken thighs. Gotta say this is probably the BEST chicken I've ever had. DELICIOUS!! Thanks Hussey!!!!
That's great Melissa! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Hungry Hussey, we just tried our blackstone today for the 1st time...we did your marinaded chicken, it was Awsome...Good Gorceries for sure...love your chanel👍👍👍

I'll agree with you buddy!
Grilled chicken is usually dry and not much taste. I have found the blackstone corrects both problems for me. Also teriyaki pork chops are amazing on the blackstone. Should try sometime if you haven’t already.
Please leave the text up longer for those of us with poorer vision. Takes a bit of time to read it.. thanks.
I've come a long way since then. This one is real old.
Just got a 22” adventure ready grill, so, I searched “easy blackstone recipes” and this came up. Mind you, I haven’t eaten meat in over three years. But I still cook it for my family. Thanks for the kind feedback. Hope you enjoy your new 22".
Did he just touch the bag with his raw chicken hands then put the bag in the fridge ??? 🤢 😭
Guess you didn’t see the text that said “after washing my hands for the internet folks” I then proceed to use tongs and place chicken in the bag. 😊 Peep 5:45
Need that BBQ sauce recipe brother from few videos back. Always wanted thin sauce but could never find.
Yes sir. I got it on the list. The chicken is good too cooked like this with the BBQ sauce I make. We'll see, I just might work this in for this week as it's a pretty easy recipe and quick one too! Stay tuned brother!
ok,, scratch them lemon and use a half cup of Balsamic vinegar. You'll get a better taste.
I mean, balsamic has it's place too. I don't think you can totally throw out lemon as it has it's flavor profile too, which I like. Feel free to make it to your liking though.
Matt! You might want to try a marinade I use. It’s called Chiavetta’s from Buffalo New York. I often use it while the chicken is grilling.
When he says " after washing my hands" but clearly still has a piece of chicken on his finger 🤣. I don't care either way your at home. Just found it funny
I’ll have to check that out. 😂 this has been a while. I do actually go and wash but could have missed some too. I typically go pretty fast.
Love your videos and the way you present them and I copy them too often to count. I do have an issue with your temperatures. You always say "medium" or turn it up to "high". Try squeezing the lemons in tongs ! Simply put the Levon in between the handle of the tongs the squeeze using the “open end”!
Nice tip!
Just got my new 22 inch can’t wait to use it thanks for the tips 👍
It's a great unit for sure!
Forget about the "stupid" or "safety" police!
If you got poked by that Thermo thingy, it would just say you are very well done!!! Not the bad well done...
There are a lot of resources for Blackstone cooking out there.....You, HH, are the best!!
Bless you, and your loved one's!
Saying hi from Gina Young.
Great recipe. I will try this one.
Thank you for coming by and supporting the channle! Appreciate it! Gina is my new best friend!
🤓
Great video stay blessed!!!!
Thanks buddy. Appreciate you stopping by!
I borrowed a 22 to try before buying a 36. Let's she how it does but mine dont have a lid.
I love my 22” too!
Always some good groceries coming off that griddle brother
Thanks brother!
"All Skrong..!"
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will try this for my ladies' card night!!! Thanks for the recipe and demo. How do you keep the outside of your Blackstone so clean? Do you keep it covered all the time?
I don’t cover. Just wipe it down every so often. This was somewhat new at the time too I believe.
That's the first time I've seen you use a 22". I'd love to see you do something like a stir-fry on that to show that you can still cook a fairly large meal without needing the large models.
Southern boys can cook. Looking good. Oh boy oh boy. Now I’m hungry and it’s only 20 mins after I finished breakfast lol.
'Cause you can't starve us out and you can't make us run

Hello friend! I also have a fun food video! Great video!😊
Thank you!
Double H, love that your measurements on ingredients are exactly like mine---eyeball!! LOL I believe you have mastered the Blackstone! Some mighty fine eatin' there.
Yes sir brother. Recipes are hard for me as they're add this and that, taste, and adjust if need be.
Sorry to hear about your children’s illness, hope there better real soon. Just watched your marinaded chicken video and thought I would try it on my wife. I’ll let you know how it turns out, lol. Philip Padilla year.

I always struggle with cooking chicken on a propane griddle. The outside is always burnt to a crisp and the inside is usually undercooked, even on a low setting. Frustrating.
With these grills, you almost have to cycle the burners to make sure you're not cooking too hot.
Would you consider doing a copycat recipe from chipotle? Always wanted to make their grilled chicken! There are copycats out there, but I learn better by watching. Lol.
I need to go to a Chipotle at some point. Never been. Sounds like a fun idea though!
Just got a blackstone few weeks ago so still learning how to control temperature. Roughly what temperature is considered medium??
Somewhere in the 375° range.
What cover is that? I need one for mine.
It came with the 22" as a package. Blackstone sells a hard cover for the 22" as well.
hussey! great video, thanks for the recipe!
Just picked up first Blackstone, got it seasoned and ready to try out tonight. Love your channel dude, going to try this chicken tonight.
Hope you enjoy!
How did you get your 22” griddle hot enough to do large pieces of chicken breasts running on a 1 lb propane tank? I couldn’t.
I use a 20 lb tank.
That looked very tasty...hope the kids get better. Been a bunch of the crud going around.
Thanks buddy! Bunch of mess going around for sure.
I got the chicken in the fridge now marinating for tomorrow nights dinner!! Looks yummy brother!!
You’ll be eating good brother!
Huss my problem is that in a few day I get just chicken taste marinade longer?
I'll sometimes use a jaccard if the chicken is thick or use a meat tenderizer mallet to help break the fibers up.
I know for sure that I am a sucker for some reallll good chicken!. That smaller grill is just amazing just like this chicken you made for us. Hussey keep killin it this cookin game Son!
Thanks brother! Appreciate your support my friend.
That's one I gotta try.
It's some good groceries buddy!
Hussey - love your videos, I am getting into griddle cooking. Where did you get your shelves surrounding your 36?
Blackstone site where I got mine.
If you get one from there you can enter code “HungryHussey” and get 10% off and free shipping.
Looks awesome. Have been watching your videos for awhile now!
Thanks buddy!
Hussey kickin chicken butt and takin names
Haha. That’s right!
My man Matt back on that baby blackstone! Hope your family and you are good!! Glad to see you back!
Thanks buddy! Good to be back and interacting with folks.
Damn it looks freaking good man, greetings from Mexico
Appreciate that buddy! Hope all is well buddy!
There's no way I'm the only one who had to google chicken powder.
Huss what do you think about that rear grease management vs the old style? You like it better? Or what is up?
I do like the RG system and would consider getting it for my 36" too.
I appreciate this video and marinade so much.It makes the best chicken I've ever had in my life.My family loves it as well
Great marinade. Works awesome with chicken thighs, then on sweet Hawaiian rolls.
Glad you like it bro. Bet they are good on Hawaiian rolls.
Hello sir gina young sent me to you page and I am loving that grill. Chicken looks delicious.
Thank you Audrey! Appreciate you coming over and taking a look. Hope to see you around more often! Mrs. Gina is awesome!
Yay! The Huss is back! Glad everyone is on the mend. Love marinated chicken! Is "chicken powder" bouillon? For a minute there I thought it was me going out of focus🤪. Digging the "mood music" there at the end! Thanks H2! Kathi😎
Chicken base is basically the powder from of bouillon so yes. You could use a bouillon cube I bet tho.
Sounds good, Thanks!
👍🏻
Hi! It’s an instant bouillon made by Wylers. We use it in many dishes. I use that and the beef a lot.

+1 subscriber. Love the family vibe and character about you.
I gotta know big brother, where'd you get the griddle with the rolling top? I checked around and all the black stones seem to be...topless?
Thanks Phillip!
That's the 22" combo unit that comes with everything (griddle, top, stand, and bulk tank adapter). Think Walmart sells them.
Sickness with the quick reply. A gentlemen you are!
Thanks for being you. God speed and luck wished for you and your family.
How much chicken are you using in this recipe
Probably 2 lbs.
Thank you, My wife said it was really good and wants me to make it again.
Glad you guys enjoyed it.
Glad your family is getting better. Still a good vid. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks buddy!
That lemon really makes it! Makes the flavors pop!
I would like to try this with lime juice in the marinade .
What exactly is 'chicken powder'? Not sure that's something we have in Ireland or the UK...
I like the way the chicken turned out. 👍👍
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Chicken looked great, I need to get me a Blackstone. Keep up the great work my friend.
Another great Video from a great Griddle Chef. THX again for uploading, my Friend. Good to see that you are feeling better!!! GBYAYF
Thanks little buddy! Hope all is well in Germany my friend.
Can you post your marinate chicken
I bought a thermometer like that but its grill master. Temp is way off. Going to try better batteries than what came with it
Have you confirmed with boiling water for accuracy?
Hussey did your chicken. Epic failure over did it on the salt. Had to throw it away. Sucks to be me. 😭
I like your chanel. Gina Young sent me to say hello!
Thank you for coming by and giving the channel a look! I appreciate it!
I'll be cooking that tomorrow!! Many thanks. Charlie, in UK
Great idea about the meal prep, i love my blackstone!
Thanks JayJay! Blackstones are sweet!
I don’t have a cover on my grill. It is the big one. But I bought one from Walmart that covers about 4 breast filets at a time. Gotta get another one so I can cook more at a time. Again, thank you!!
I am a new subscriber and Gina Young says hello
Thank you Sandra! Appreciate you coming over and taking a look. Hope to see you around more often! Mrs. Gina is awesome!
Sending prayers for your children! I know how it is to have sick kids! The chicken looks delicious though! 🌼
that chicken looks mighty fine. have to give this a go as well
Thanks George!
Is that the 22 inch blackstone griddle
Yes sir.
Do you ever get rubbery chicken breast? I get some sometimes, i check to make sure its up to temp, but dang its inedible sometimes. You think the quality of chicken is the issue?
Love watching your video keep up the good work.
Thanks Lyle!
Great job Hussey! Me and the wife been trying to eat better. Been looking for a better way to cook up some chicken breast. Thanks!! Glad that the Hussey family is gettin better. Thanks for all the great videos. Can't wait to try these out!!
Matthew, this is great for low carb type diets as it's zero carbs. Hope you give it a try brother. Thanks for watching.
@@thehungryhussey hey man couldn't find any chicken powder at walmart. Is chicken bouillon the same thing or is it something totally different?
Hey THH here from In The Kitchen With Gina Young. She gave you high recommendations!
Thank you Ms. Coeli! Appreciate you coming over and taking a look. Hope to see you around more often! Mrs. Gina is awesome!
Hey. I like the way you are showing people to use a thermometer, especially with chicken, and the proper temp. And no, don't hold it so the probe is aimed at your throat, lol. Keep up the good work. Glad to hear the kids are doing better.
Haha... I kinda failed on the Thermapen to the throat!
A tip : you can watch series on flixzone. Been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Nicholas Mohammad yea, been watching on Flixzone for months myself =)
I use a 64oz. mason jar and put my chicken and marinade in it and use a food saver with jar adaptor to vacuum seal the chicken and marinade together. :53 Kinda said oil like a Yank there XD I was surprised.
People poked fun and I tried to conform. The heck with all that. Hahah
Glad to see that your back buddy. Good to hear the family is getting back to normal.
Thanks Jimmy!
hungry hussy ....... wait ,, what ?haha - hit like, didn't expect that
I'm watching an old one! Good for you, I'm Canada Alberta. I'm having an issue on black stone?
What’s the problem?
How do you determine what temp the griddle is? If I want to cook at, say, 350, how do I set 5hat?
Hope your kids get better 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks my friend. They seem to be better now, but now a head cold has got a hold of me. Ready for the cold season to go!
