I hack l discovered is covering the bottom of your smasher and sticking your parchment paper to it. Works well enough!

We DO know you can Smash Patties between wax paper in the Kitchen, and then just drop the Smashed Patty on the grill right?
No, doing on the grill is the whole point, you dont get as good of a sear on pre-smashed
Can you pre smash, yes you can, but won’t get the contact patch like you would when smashing.
@@gunfighterzero Oh please, you DON'T think I haven't tried both? give me a break just put a Bacon press on your patties if you want a better "crust" otherwise just a light press with a spatula gives the same contact patch...PLUS you haven't squeezed out all the juice from the patty like you do when pressing on the Griddle...did you ever think of that?
@The_Timinator wow, the juice is fat and its going to come out either way, you arent smashing it out since the only smash you do is in the very beginning when you throw down your ball of meat.. the burger should be cooking in that grease if its thin enough
