See how we can be so cruel....to all animals. Again Brady, thank you for showing the world how we can be gentle, open, and most of all patience, take care
I wouldn't call it crazy at all. It's beautiful. When God's creatures are treated with kindness, they repay it in so many ways. We can learn so much from their behaviors.
I listened to a sermon one time talking about a kid walking down a beach throwing stars back into the ocean. Someone told him "What you're doing doesn't matter." The kid replied, "It matters to this one." And then he threw it back into the ocean. I somehow feel silly, but I'm relating that story anyway. After all, we are all God's creatures.
The reason for Leon's accuracy may also be that his antennae give him an additional smell-based stereoscopic imaging. He knows what your hand smells like, and can differentiate it from the shrimp. Amazing that he understands you are benevolent and to be treated with respect. I wonder if he enjoys the worms so much because they remind him of first being rescued.

When I watched the first video about Leon, I was just curious about the rehabilitation of a grocery store lobster. I had no idea how much I'd appreciate this southern American man sharing little wisdoms about life and opening his home to every mistreated or abandoned animal he comes across.
This is like a tiny corner of the internet where it wholesomeness defies the toxic meta - it is my favourite place to visit and join Leon to ponder on the mystery of life 🙂
Hand-feeding - what a great experiment! I was amazed when he differentiated between your hand and the shrimp. Your cats are beautiful and all the tiny tank life is exciting. Your vids are like a letter from home. Thanks, Brady.
I found it really moving when Leon took the food from your hand, especially that first time. It felt like a breakthrough. Brady, you’ve put in so much effort and now Leon is rewarding you with his trust.
I remember the first Leon video when you brought him home from the store. It's so cool to see that he is doing well and looks so much better now. Thank you again for saving that guy!
I don’t know what it is about your videos but they are so special and relaxing. I think it’s the combination of Leon, your care for and interaction with him, your narration and the music. It’s all just so good 😊 And I just love all the other critters that are turning up now!
Never in your life, did you expect one day you would have 3/4th of a MILLION people watch you hand-feed your rescued store food bought lobster you now keep as a pet and homie. Its the combo of the sound of your voice, the narration and scripting, your editing choices, and of course Leon himself and the idea behind what your doing has all come together and shot you both into the history books. You, Me, Leon... we will all be gone from this earth one day, but the two of you will live on in infamy here on your channel. Congratulations, and thanks for taking all the time to create these videos and share them with the world.
Wow. I just remembered your old video. And decided to look up lobster from a grocery store to find your video to see how Leon was doing. It's been over a year, and I'm just amazed at how Leon is doing, molting and all. He's doing amazing and it truly warms my heart to see this.
Leon has come along way from the grocery store. 😍😍😍💕💜💕💜 Thanks for adopting the kittens. You are such a good dad. I enjoy a visit to your comfort caring home. 😍
Hi! This was my first time meeting Leon and I am smitten! This video is a great way to educate people who don't realize how smart and sensitive animals are and take them for granted. I will have to find the beginning of this story and spread to other animal lovers. Just beautiful! Thank you!
I just got the feeling that Leon knew the little crab was there left it out sharing his food with his little cousin. The way he looks at you shows he is studying your behaviour thinking about things deciding what he’s going to do about problems or situations. Fascinating stuff I always thought every being has the capacity to problem solve at least with crustaceans I’ve seen it for myself it’s awesome
How emotional. ❤ I think he perhaps recognising you are the feeding hand and the hand that rescued him and rehabilitate him. It’s obvious he doesn’t perceive you as aggressive or a threat to him. They can distinguish friend from enemy. Hand-feeding Lord Leon the Lobster was something very beautiful to see. ❤
You have taken such great care of Leon, to remember what he was in the beginning....almost going to be someone's dinner! Now look! Vibrant and strong. You're amazing
Leon is just amazing. Who knew that a lobster could be so interesting! And the way the tank is populating is amazing. It started out looking like water, sand, rocks and a lobster. Now an anemone has popped up, and the little jelly fish babies and the crabs. I can't wait for the glass shrimp babies to hatch. Will the crabs have babies? Life ... is just fabulous in all its forms ❤️
if that's an aptasia anemone, they have this bad habit of overrunning and causing havoc in tanks. I unknowingly let one get too big, and accidentally touching it was enough to give me a reaction. Hopefully Leon can keep it in line
@mememe733 I'm not sure why you posted this as a reply to my comment. I asked if the crabs will have babies. The sex life of a lobster, while fascinating, doesn't really matter as Leon is a single chap.
I have two ideas. A t-shirt with that little spot he get in his back. That way it a “if you know, you know” type inside thing. But a Leon children’s book. I think it could be a great book for children in foster care.
I'm always amazed at all of Leon's moving parts. He is mechanical looking to me. I think we underestimate animals and babies, I believe that Leon sees you, and knows he is not in Kansas anymore but in some other magical place.
Leon will never know how lucky he is to have been saved from the supermarket! He’s so entertaining and fun to watch. You have saved an amazing creature from certain death. Thankyou sir for your videos.
Idk... My dog was a stray, then trapped in "jail" for a few months before I got him. He kept hunting birds & lizards in the yard until I finally caught him in the act. It was like he realized, "Wait, she gives me food. Every day!" Maybe I'm anthropomorphizing, but he seems so appreciative. Leon could be the same. We'll never know😊 At least they're happy💗

When I watched the first video about Leon, I was just curious about the rehabilitation of a grocery store lobster. I had no idea how much I'd appreciate this southern American man sharing little wisdoms about life and opening his home to every mistreated or abandoned animal he comes across.
I love all the colours on Leon now 💜 he looks so healthy
This is like a tiny corner of the internet where it wholesomeness defies the toxic meta - it is my favourite place to visit and join Leon to ponder on the mystery of life 🙂
Good to hear news about Leon! I'm glad to see that you've established a good ecosystem. Leon has a happy, healthy place to live.
Love Leon the lobster 🦞 he very spoiled special lobster to have you as his dad and you saved his life he has a big personality bless him🏴
Hand-feeding - what a great experiment! I was amazed when he differentiated between your hand and the shrimp. Your cats are beautiful and all the tiny tank life is exciting. Your vids are like a letter from home. Thanks, Brady.
I just wrote a comment saying the SAME thing about a letter - I said phone call - from home!
@@TheGypsyVanners What was it they said:"Great minds think alike"?
Leon and his tiny friends are a joy to watch. Always look forward to your videos ❤️
Leon! I will never eat lobster again after watching these sweet videos of this lovely gentle creature 🥰🦞💐
After all this time I'm glad you rescued Leon, such a vivid personality he has. Amazed to see his little world grow more with every update.
I learned to know that the lobsters are intelligent creatures thanks for sharing
From a grocery store suffering to a luxury fish tank! Keep up the good work 👍
I don’t know what it is about your videos but they are so special and relaxing. I think it’s the combination of Leon, your care for and interaction with him, your narration and the music. It’s all just so good 😊
And I just love all the other critters that are turning up now!
I love how you can have a whole ecosystem in an aquarium
Thanks for adopting the kittens. You are such a good dad. I enjoy a visit to your comfort caring home. 😍
Yes his home is cozy beautiful and the aquarium is perfect
So good to see Leon again, you have created a magical place for him and a wonderful view into Leon’s life for us. I can’t wait for the next episode.
I love seeing all the different creatures living in Leon’s tank. Simply amazing! Thank you for giving Leon such a wonderful home!
Leon knows you love him, He's Precious, Thank you for Sharing him with all of us, 💞
NEW LEON!! Thanks for making these updates; they always cheer me up :D
Hi! This was my first time meeting Leon and I am smitten! This video is a great way to educate people who don't realize how smart and sensitive animals are and take them for granted. I will have to find the beginning of this story and spread to other animal lovers. Just beautiful! Thank you!
Its so adorable that he is so protective of his space. You provided a home for him and he loves it. He looks amazing and has come a long way.
It’s sweet how Leon purposely avoids snapping your fingers. I think he knows and likes you.
Dillion has beautiful eyes.
Glad to see everyone’s doing well. It’s nice the way Leon is the gentleman about getting the food from your hand. Look forward to the next video.
What's really cool is the colour change Leon goes through when he gets the worms. The blues around his joints becomes much more vibrant.
Animals like you?
How emotional. ❤ I think he perhaps recognising you are the feeding hand and the hand that rescued him and rehabilitate him. It’s obvious he doesn’t perceive you as aggressive or a threat to him. They can distinguish friend from enemy. Hand-feeding Lord Leon the Lobster was something very beautiful to see. ❤
His brain is the size of a small pea, do not personify animals.
It as been a wild since I check on leon’s progress. But man you’re images are so bright, crips and beautiful. I love your work. Thank you
Leon was really ready to throw hands with the glass cleaner 🤣🤣
that brought tears in my ears, seeing how gentle leon was, after he had felt his hand for the first time omg
I love the part where you said Leon moved the rock. He is doing his own thing and living life. I was so excited to see a new Leon video! Thank you!
A new update on Leon always brings a huge smile to my face. I don't know what it is about your boy but he's definitely a good mood booster!
Same 🍁🇮🇹🙏🏻💙🦞
You have taken such great care of Leon, to remember what he was in the beginning....almost going to be someone's dinner! Now look! Vibrant and strong. You're amazing
I can't believe I've been following Leon since day 1. Thanks for the continued updates.
Awwww Leon loves you. Just soo sweet how careful he was of your finger
So precious. He is gentle and appreciative.
You’ve brought a lot of happiness to this lobster. And to us, Leon’s fans 👏
I'm always amazed at all of Leon's moving parts. He is mechanical looking to me. I think we underestimate animals and babies, I believe that Leon sees you, and knows he is not in Kansas anymore but in some other magical place.
He knows you rescued him and he is so smart! What a gentle boy!
@@gohawks3571 I’m just happy he got a one in a billion chance to live while waiting in a supermarket , to end up on a plate. I’m very happy for Leon!!!!
@@aguythatworkstoomuch4624 Me too😊✌️
@@gohawks3571 thanks!
Another relaxing and interesting episode to watch. I always enjoy Leon's antics and how gentle he is to his pet. 😊
I love how compassionate about animals you are. Really makes me have hope for the future of humans
Is Leon developing some blue coloration in places? This is quite attractive. He sure is healthy looking, you are doing a very good job of caring for him.
I love Leon!!! He is such an adorable chonk!!
Don't bite the hand that feeds you comes to mind, he really knows you I believe. Another great video. Thank you from 🇬🇧
I heard that lobsters can basically live for ever. Looks like a (lifelong) friend in leon
Until he can't molt properly other than humans it is the leading cause of death
@@nikkiewhite476 let’s hope it doesn’t happen
Yeah molting is the toughest experience for crustaceans 😢
@@nikkiewhite476 what if a human helps him?
Pretty sure they live till they just get tired of molting. Such icons. "Im tired of this.. 💀🪦"
I'm so happy Leon and you are doing well. I love these videos and all of the updates.
I would like to second that.
i always enjoy the updates on all the critters. thanks
I can't believe that I've become so invested in this little mud bug. Leon looks fantastic at this point, and I'd be interested to know how much weight he's put on since you got him.
The rescuing of cats is also very admirable, my mom did that for 20 years.
Like mammals and birds, Leon definitely has his own personality. As always, your cinematography is stunning. I ❤️ Leon & friends.
Leon loves his sentient dad.... for giving him great life. ...❤ love from London. 😊
