According to the GREX P635 exploded parts view diagram, it seams you may have put the bumper in upside down. It shows the narrow side facing up towards the hammer piston.
Have the same gun and recently did a rebuild kit but now I have air leaking from where the cap meets the gun but there was no gasket there to begin with. Any suggestions?

that way would be upside down it only fits one way into the gun

Maybe the top o ring popped out from under the aluminum cap that's under the black cap

How long did you have that gun Before you had to rebuild it ?
About 1.5 years keep in mind I use it every day all day 10s of thousands of Pins maybe 100s

That Bumper at $3.65 is fair.......but the shipping with Acetool is outrageous @ $17.88 ! ??
Agreed I have several of these and purchased multiple bumpers it is a really good gun the other option as far as I know would be purchase a new gun.
