Hi mike. loving the videos.
Im a carpenter living in N.Ireland and have worked all over the world including the states.
Been watching Timothy Wilmotts for a while now and im as impressed with his workshop as much as his drive. Ive built his MFT style cart about 2 years ago and also the Ron paulk table which i use every day. Both have their uses and are invaluable in my line of work.
Im mobile and carry my workshop in my van much similar To Ron Paulk. I would love to set up a workshop and work from home but i have to go where the work is.
Thanks for the taking the time to make these videos and i look forward to your buid of the MFT.

James Gordon well thank you very much for that comment I really appreciate it. I'm also a big follower of Timothy Wilmotts and I have built his MFTC cart I have a video on it. I actually us it in my plumbing business when I install tankless heaters. One day my wife and I want to visit Ireland her family is from county Mayo. Again thanks Mike

Neat tool. So far, my Hitachi has been great enough that I don’t feel a need to upgrade

For me, it's whether I need the extra length of a 2" pin over the 1 3/8" that my Hitachi can handle. Since the hitachi has been perfect (no jamming, consistent pin setting), the only advantage I see to this excellent tool is the longer pin. I'm sure it's a great advantage in particular cases, but I've not yet needed the longer pin.
That's not to say it wouldn't be fantastic for someone else. I've heard nothing but excellent things about the Grex, and I'd recommend it even without having experienced it.
Finally, I have no source of longer pins locally. It's important to me to be able to source consumables locally, so that's ultimately the main deal breaker.

Reviewed everything but the Grex....what about the case, what about the tool performance. You noted nothing about the tool ?

Do not purchase the Grex 18ga it's garbage.
