AWB was superb yesterday and definitely needs credit. He has been out for ages, returns against Liverpool and is matched up vs Salah and was fantastic. Brilliant performance

The system Ten Hag played when he went for it wasn't just madness. It's a system he would always use at Ajax when needing a win. It was actually calculated, he's done it a few times over his tenure here as well. He tactically confused Liverpool and showed a method to his madness.

Take the emotion out of it, Ten Hag needs to see out his contract regardless how the season ends. He needs to be the manager next season and hopefully beyond. He deserves to be working with proper backing from the club.
As close to a boxing match as I've ever seen. The fresh blood just refused to give in - garna, Antony, amad - just incredible. But fair play to maguire - came on and really took the fight to Liverpool with no fear. I have so much more respect for him this season.
A mention needed for AWB and Mainoo. Players that are composed on the ball, hard to get the ball off and can quickly win it back. We looked a lot better today for large parts of the game.
Awb footwork was elite yday just after a long injury and playing on the wrong side pocketed salah aswell

AWB was a revelation yesterday, the 1st game back too. Looks like a different player. Trust in ETH, he's developing youth to his system. Couple good signings plus CB pairs more consistent. Next season will be very different. Eth In.

There was a long period in the 2nd half that we struggled as Liverpool dominated, but this time, we kept in shape and didn't concede many clear-cut chances. This was different as before when we stopped running and conceded 3 4 5 during that period, but we stuck it out and came back twice. We are building and Ten Hag In!!

The several successful presses and steals by Amad indicated that body sizes are not decisional factors for pressing and duels.

Ten Hags "go for it" tactics weren't random yesterday. I've seen him do it at United a few times and did so at Ajax too. At face value it looks chaotic but basically it's a 3-4-3 formation.
Bruno wasn't playing as a central defender he was just very mobile and covering a lot of grown. So its one central defender with aerial ability and two attacking full backs on his side. Two central midfielders with very good passing ability and the rest are all forwards, attack minded players. Closes the pitch more on the opponent cuz they're sitting back more to protect their lead and it also gives you a better man to man press (with an extra body). If they play long balls the Central Defender controls it or heads it in an area where the midfield or full backs pick up the second ball. I love it.

He did say he wants to play compact, together up front and compact in the back but it does require every player to move up and down in a Unit but you need good and enduring players to do so, that explains the intense training sessions.

I think Ten has done a good job at United, not just this game, but in general. We totally missed Casemiro at the start of the season, Mc Tom is not the answer, never has been. If me move to Southgate in the summer, I think it will be a terrible decision. England lost an unforgivable final against a substandard Italy. It was an easy road, and he cocked it up. He also loves to play a 6-man defence. Please, please, please let him go to Liverpool.

I wouldn’t say he school Klopp. Liverpool controlled large parts of the game . They simply could not put it away we did. But our system and style of play is based on counter attack football which worked on this day.
What do you mean? We dominated the first half the same way liverpool did the second half. Also did you not notice a lot of playing out the back by inverting both full backs to help mainoo out defensively? If the only style of play you know is look at the possession stats then I have no counter. Tactically it was a masterstroke to play out from the back and attack Liverpool. I'm also fine if you've made up your mind that ten hag must go.

Secondly, everyone needs to be patient with the manager and their favourite players i.e Amad. The good thing we have a decent attacking squad up front.
