What amazes me is how the hell he gets his feet back on those pedals. I could pull some big tricks back in the day but one thing that would often making me stack it was not being able to align my feet back with the damned pedals!

I remember being a kid growing up in S. Florida in the 70's and early 80's; there were thousands of homes being built and we'd grab cinder blocks and plywood and build ramps. We would sometimes like up empty beer and soda cans and see who could jump the most. The ultimate jump was when we would set the ramp up next to a canal and do a "tabletop" landing in the water, because who would be crazy enough to attempt a tabletop on dry land?! If we could have seen what kids were doing these days we would have lost our minds.

His dismount was beautiful, it reminded me of gym laps, where we had to run to the walls and back. My truck was to walk up the wall at speed turn and launch off beating the other students by a wide margin. Greatness comes from genius and practice….

Back in 1960s we had the big fat tired bikes going down a real mountain and if we caught air like that something bad was about to happen and we didn't have a padded cushion to land in...
