- As promised, to accompany the other video showing what was there at the show, I wanted to share my experience of the show itself. I consider these types of shows very social and the friendships made and conversations had during the shows make it all worth it. I did buy a few things at the show... Kind of odd stuff, but nonetheless cool to me.

Jealous of the Honda Fit and the F40. Great deals on those. Sounds like a fun time, hope to make it out there some day, only 3000 miles away. Any chance you're toying with the idea of coming to the last ever NNL West next January?

I think I know the vendor you got that F-40 from. He looked to be "just a guy" thinning his stash versus a regular vendor. That is the first time I have seen a vendor like that at the NNL East. Tim (I am 80% sure about this pronounciation) Coe LANK uh witz. His work is jaw dropping. What he did with the USAAC build Ford Pickup was AMAZING! It was a pleasure getting to say hello. You were tough to grab for that hello. You were definitely as in demand and busy as Clay Kemp.
Next time just yank me by the arm Jason😂 I agree, I bought all my kits from the same guy. Just a regular guy. I bet he has a whole stash I would like. Thanks for the phonetic pronunciation 👍

Thanks Tim, I just build and enjoy hanging out with other builders. I admire others for their talents and strive to get better.
I think getting to meet modeler and tubers is just as fun as pick up kits and showing builds.

It's funny when I go to to the Southern Nat's I end up talking and catching up with friends that I'm in a rush to get to the display tables and vendors. But that's okay because it's always a great time.

I know how you feel, James. I went to my first NNL West this year, met a bunch of cool modelers and it was over way to fast!
I really would like to attend the last one next year. It’s a shame it’s ending.

I want to do one badly, but was waiting maybe Alpha releases one someday! I'm super interested to see your custom work for the conversion. I would loved to have gone to the show but it wasn't in the cards this time. I talked with Randy Derr in akron last October at the Plastic Undercover show, you're right that he's a great guy and I believe his corvette has what it takes to win awards as long as he enters it.
My favorite part of any show is talking to the other builders and looking at the fantastic work they do !
I got lucky with the Ferrari for sure. I’ll have the 3d printed stuff soon to make it into something unique. Maybe next year you can attend. Thanks for watching bud👍

Excellent video on the NNL East James. I watch so many channels and so yours popped up on my feed and i gave it a watch for the first time. I do remember seeing you at the show. You came away with some good deals. I've attended the NNL for the past thirty two years. Yes i agree there are so many awesome model car builders and beautiful builds at the show. Hopefully I'll be there next year and I will introduce myself. I will also continue to watch your videos.

I'm a new subscriber. And getting back in the hobby. I see a lot of vids on shows and was wondering how come the prices at the shows are more reasonable than at hobby shops in person or online? And is there any shows or swap meets coming to Oregon this year? Thanks in advance and keep the great videos coming.
Hi Tim, welcome to the channel and to the hobby. Without going deep into the laws of supply and demand, the reason the kits I bought were cheap was the seller wanted to get rid of them so he sold them cheap. Now, most times the kits at shows are market priced and more expensive. I’m sorry I don’t know of any shows coming up in Oregon, but maybe post a message to the Facebook groups like Luka Cee’s and I’m sure someone will have an answer for you.
