It’s a great kit. I built one sub lime with white interior and white tail stripe. The only thing I didn’t like were the generic tires. I replaced them with Goodyear polyglas GT’s. I also changed the magnum 500’s for the rally wheels. This kits are expensive now. Good thing they are going to be reissued. I’ll probably get another. Great review!

When I was doing these way back as kid…. If it didn’t fit I would just add extra glue ha ha…. Cool Channel 😎

YAAAAYYY! I really like your white glue build reviews, they're excellent ! You're doing something we both like, MUSCLECARS!!!!! I mean your Mercedes roadracers that you build with the Japanese girl liveryes all over them are phenomenal and out of this world!!! This 70 Charger kit is a good one! I built the 68 and 69 but I don't have a 70 which is the last year of the beautiful Chargers (68-70) I wanted to watch your build review of this model as soon as you posted this video and its really enjoyable! I look forward to one day you'll paint and build it on a future video. You're a fantastic modeler! Keep up the great work!

What scale is this kit? Is it a repop of the 1/24 monogram version? I would strongly recommend including any glass in your initial test fits. Can make a huge difference in final fitment.
This is a 1/25 scale kit issued in 2017 from Revell. They are going to re-issue it for the first time this year. I’m satisfied with the gap between the dashboard and the body as well as the package shelf to body to know that the glass will be fine. Thanks for watching and leaving me a comment👍

Exhaust manifold is correct. Probably to clear the steering box.
That makes a lot of sense. I’ve never seen one like it in other Mopar kits.

Great review. How do you remove the white glue after disassembly? Water or alcohol?
It’s a very weak joint. I pull the parts apart and peel off the glue with tweezers.
I like your pre assembly test fit, this looks like another great kit from Revell..

I have one in EV2 Hemi orange acrylic enamel white stripe white interior I did same used good year poly glass tires white lettering yours looks good even not painted thanks

Nice idea for a video, very helpful.
I’ve found every Revell 68-70 Charger benefits from having the rear axle moved forward by about 1mm, either by repositioning it on the springs, drilling the leaf spring mounting holes, or just slicing a little off the front of each leaf spring. That way the rear wheels sit correctly in the wheel arches. It’s a fault I spot on virtually all the built ones.
Right, this kit is very different than the 68/69 as far as chassis is concerned. This one was a lot easier and fitment was better. Thanks for watching and leaving me a comment👍

@CycolacFan no parts are the same at all. It’s a newer tool.

Hi Terry, it took me 2 evenings start to finish. If I wasn’t filming it would have been faster.
@@ScaleModelExperiment I'v tried mocking up with whit glue, didn"t go as well as it does for you. That said, I'm impatient, I try to do thing quick, don't hate me for being fast! (LOL)
@terryburton2238 my bottle of Elmer’s is old so it’s kind of thick and sets up quickly. But sometimes I still struggle with getting parts to set up. In the future I’ll do a white glue review of a kit I KNOW doesn’t fit well😂
It’s the fast and furious kit with new box art.
I disagree. Revell did a F&F car with slicks, blown engine and roll bar and a stock version afterwards. They are reusing the stock version like the kit I built in white glue.
@@ScaleModelExperiment yeah… I disagree with you… I know you get kits donated to you or whatever… you’re one of the best builders I’ve seen… well let’s not lie to the people. All of these kits are almost the same. the Fast and the Furious charger kit… the MPC kit countryside… that kit you just showed with the hot pink body color … the 68 Dodge Challenger from AMT with the tin box… they’re all the same besides a couple parts… a couple chrome parts ..and box art… it’s like selling a big Mac in five variations… the sandwiches is the same but the box they put the sandwich in is different.. and instead of ketchup, they put mustard on it.. seriously… what these model car companies are doing should be considered false advertisement.

@@ScaleModelExperiment I’m subscribed and watch your videos/channel religiously …let’s agree that you cant speak the truth and give your true thoughts about these new kits… because they have been “donated”…these kits are almost always identical except a few parts.. yet different brands and different years of a car always have the same exact parts in the box…the brand of model is different and the Box art is different… yet it’s always the same… all across the board… it’s not your fault… yet we look to you for your opinion and thoughts… I have purchased 4 different Dodge charger models from 4 different manufacturers and they’re 98% the same kit. Can you pass the word on that things need to change… you’re one of the best builders… I mean no disrespect towards you… but this company’s need to step up their game… they’ll listen to you… please help us… 🙏.
