Amazing series, thanks for the detailed expert info! I was interested in how you got the cladding on with the building so close to the fence. I’m planning a build where space is tight and I want to get as close as I can to 3 neighbouring walls/fences to make the most of available space. Do you have a minimum distance that you find workable? Thanks!
Really interesting series. Can you tell me the detail at the bottom of batten / cladding to stop wasps and other critter getting into the batten cavities? Many thanks.
Thanks for your time and effort making these videos they are my go to for info. I have designed my garden room on CAD will start to build in spring after laying my sub base in the next few weeks. Am indecisive about a nailing gun for batons and OSB- what you think? I currently have Dawalt battery tools. Could I get away with my impact or drill for securing- there’s a lot of fixings!
I have the Dewalt tools / battery system and as part of the set up both the 1st and 2nd fix nail guns. In my honest opinion I WOULDNT get the Dewalt nail guns again. I spend more time cleaning / unjamming the nail driver than I do using the dam things. Wish I had ignored my leaning towards Dewalt due to already having the Dewalt batterys and instead purchased the Hikoki nail guns instead 😕
@@ashleydickfisher thanks , I have seen some reviews and some people not impressed with Dawalt, seems a bit of an expense if am going to swap just for this project, so might be just setting up some pilot holes and screwing in with impact driver on low setting. - thanks

Nail gun is expensive. Get good hammer and powerful Impact Dri
