    I had the same experience with this card. I now have gone through the 6950xt to the 7900xtx and I just have a soft spot for the 5700xt . The small form factor and the unreal stability and performance with not alot of heat like the other two cards and massive power draw.. I too had some kinks at first with this card but may it be driver updates or user error after i got used to it i was just blown away. 1080p to 2k this card is a awesome choice still imo. I recently gave it to a friend for her build and she has no idea how awesome this card is. she is going to pair it with a ryzen 5700xt cpu that i will build for her. 650 watt psu because thats all this card needs and 3600mhz ram with m.2 and ssd drives shes in for a real treat. I also had the gigabyte version and added thermal paste and it just loved it. My 7900xtx heats my living room , takes up my whole case and drives up already expensive energy bill paired with a 1200 watt psu. I will miss this treasure of a gpu 5700xt.

    just got a 5700xt a few months ago, absolutely no problems other than OW2 starting stuttery for around a minute, then being totally fine after
    hope it lasts a good amount of time, as its just a price to performance killer. amd software also seems to be quite mature, rate it after having been on team green for 5 years

    For UE4 games, always play them in DX12 if possible and if they're UE 4.19+, you can enable TAAU (or TSR in 4.26+) and set 67% resolution scale for a DLSS2/FSR2 like Quality preset.
    Better TAA, better performance and close to identical image quality.
    Some additional sharpening from ini set to 1.0-2.0 also helps.
    Don't use RIS + ReBar on 5700 XT, it breaks performance and has a VRAM leak, generating VRAM overhead.

    • @matthias6933
      @matthias6933 Год назад +3

      the rx 580 was a good card but is showing its age with newer titles. Also with age, the second hand conditions of these cards won't be better - the opposite is the case.
      Depending on where you live, getting a rx 5700 xt for around 150€ won't be too hard will be way more future proof since it comes way closer to the performance of current gen consoles and there's less of a risk that people have abused them as much.

      You may have to pry the actual heat sink off of the die. It may take some uncomfortable amount of force- if things start bending then stop, but instead of prying off, trying twisting on the Z axis instead of the X or Y. This will help break loose any thermal paste or pads that may be causing this issue

    Proceu Tech : letting an R7 250 sway you away from AMD is simply proof of your lack of education. Come on man....that GPU was an office low budget GPU that shouldn't be used for anything else than just an office PC.

    • @ProceuTech
      @ProceuTech  Год назад +2

      It wasn't the performance of the card that swayed me away, it was ultimately the drivers. I had a bunch of issues where my screen would go black and disconnect for a second, then reconnect. I also had a similar issue with an RX 480 4GB I had about a year and a half ago, so I thought I had identified a trend. With this card, I didn't run into that issue thankfully!

    • @lflyr6287
      @lflyr6287 Год назад

      @@ProceuTech Screen going off could be caused by either drivers, corrupted redistributable package, corrupted dll-s for driver signatures (not only GPU ones, but all of them), partially damaged HDMI connector on the GPU, on the cable itself or on the monitors IO, partially damaged wiring inside the monitor, partially damaged electronic or ramdac chip on the monitor....
      So much so that it's biased to say it was the AMD-s drivers and collides with the Narrative that Nvidia influencers want to sustain for years.
      I had the R9 290X 8GB variant since it was launched and until 2022 and I've NEVER HAD A BROKEN DRIVER....never ever and I have installed just about every released driver since I am a hard core gamer :). In my experience of owning every AMD generation of their GPU-s since the age of Hercules 3D Prophet ATI Radeon 8500 LE 64MB SDR AGP, AMD drivers were only buggy in that Radeon HD 5000 - HD 6000 series but before and after that they are almost flawless.
