    Hi! I purchased the Hyper Tough HT500 dongle at Walmart that supports the Repair Solutions 2 app. What product number is that equivalent to in the Innova product lineup? Im guessing the 1000? Im asking because Im having some trouble erasing codes and i cannot use the website to determine product vehicle and phone coverage.

      Hi Dustin, that is correct. The HT500 is equivalent to the 1000 dongle.

    Is RS2 available for a computer/Windows PC? That way you can use a laptop instead of just a phone

      Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, RepairSolutions 2 is available only to use on a smartphone or tablet device. It cannot be downloaded to a computer to transfer data. We apologize for that inconvenience!

      The RS2 app will only work in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Guam. What country are you in?

    I just bought this 3030r scanner. Unfortunately I do not use a smart phone. I do use a laptop and have internet access. Can I use my laptop instead of a smart device or, even better, can I use the devise by itself without using any other device? I may have to return it if I can't.

      The RS2 app will only work on a smart phone or tablet with the 3030RS. The RS2 app will not work on a PC or Mac. You can still use the 3030RS without using the RS2 app. The RS2 app is a free supplemental resource that provides fix information based off your check engine codes. The 3030RS will still read code descriptions and erase codes without the RS2 app.

      Hi there! You can see live data within the RepairSolutions 2 app, only if you have the wireless Bluetooth CarScan Mobile device, part numbers 1000, 3215RS, or 6000p. If you have a handheld tool with the button "LD", unfortunately, you can only view live data within the tool itself. We apologize for any inconvenience!

    Just bought an Innova 3100RS for my '05 Honda Element and installed this app on my Android tablet. Not too sure if this will be helpful because I was hoping that this app would perform like the other Bluetooth OBD2 scan tools that show absolutely everything on the Android display. This app just compliments the built-in display of the 3100RS and other scan tools from Innova.

      Hi Andrew, thank you for your feedback! We would like to let you know that the mobile app will not offer those EXTRA features because they are all within the tool itself. Live data, ABS, SRS, check engine light, oil & battery reset are all done through the unit, not the app. The mobile app, for the 3100rs, is to be able to transfer, store, and find out more fix information based only on the trouble code the 3100rs provides.     I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu. I connected the scanner, but have to put my vin number in. Its saying that my Vin number cannot be found, and I did it a couple times to make sure its correct, and it still says vin number can't be found

    I have a Innova fixassist 3030rs and in the app I don't see any options regarding engine, quick scan or anything like that. Any idea why?

      Thank you for your question. If your 6100p has a #2 logo at the bottom of the unit, then it is compatible to work with RepairSolutions 2. If it says www.innova.com, then it is NOT compatible to work with RepairSolutions 2.

    i bought this too but i traid to use it in Egypt for my Toyota car , its give me not support it in this areas, which i do not believe that, kindly to show up to me or send mail to tell me how can I use outside USA, I mean in the middle east is that supported,, tell me how? . thanks

      Thank you for your inquiry. This tool supports all US, and Canadian sold vehicles made after 1996 that are OBD-II compliant. Vehicles sold in other countries, although similar, are not set up the same as the ones sold in the US, and our readers may not be able to link. There are times when our readers will link to vehicles sold outside the US, or Canada but this is not guaranteed.

    It’s not reading my Vin on app , it says invalid Vin but it’s the correct one ! What do I do? Help please

    the scanner is literally making use the app instead of controlling it from the actual scanner…can the app clear codes? i’m trying to find out if i resolved one of my misfiring cylinders

      No, not with the handheld scanners but only with the 1000 dongle can you erase. With the handheld scanners, the RS2 app is completely optional but not with the 1000 dongle. Only the 1000 dongle will let you erase the codes from the RS2 app since it doesn't have a display screen and everything is done through the RS2 app
      If you have a handheld scanner, you can only erase the codes on the scanner by pressing the ERASE button, then pressing the enter button to confirm the erase. What model code reader do you have? Also, if the codes are "Pending" or "Permanent", those type of codes can't be erased with any scanner.
      "Pending" codes - A Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) set on the "first trip" of a "two trip" code. If the fault that caused the DTC to be set is not found on the subsequent (second) trip, the code is cleared automatically.
      "Permanent" codes, the underlying problem that caused the permanent codes to set must be corrected, and the vehicle must be operated (driven) for a period of time sufficient to allow the monitor that identified the problem to run. When the monitor completes without detecting a problem, the code is cleared automatically.

      When the Innova OBD2 tool is connected via WiFi, you will be able to receive reports on your mobile device connected through 4G LTE. Bluetooth is also an option if both your mobile device and Innova OBD2 Tool are within range.

      Yes, the RS2 app will read and erase SRS codes when paired with the Innova 1000 dongle.

    Hey Innova, i just got the 7111, any videos anywheres? I some what figured it out, but it be nice to know more about it. Also, is there a chance i can attach a auto scooe to it? Let me know thanks.

      @@InnovaAuto So another question. Why is there a frint and back camera, I cant seem to use it. Also, I cant seem to get repair solutions 2 to work with it. Is there a work around or am i just out of luck? Seems to be a lot of money for certain things it should be capable of and nothing.

      @@oldiron4135 The RepairSolutions 2 mobile application is NOT compatible with the 7111 tablet because this app is already built in the tablet. When the 7111 tablet is done scanning a vehicle, you can select the Create Report option to begin using RepairSolutions 2 within the tablet. The only time the RepairSolutions 2 app will not provide fixes are if the codes are labeled "Pending" codes and if the yellow light is on the tool because at that point, these are still pending codes, not stored failures. If you have "Stored" or "Permanent" codes, a red light on the tool, and do not see fixes, please contact us at support@repairsolutions.com or 800-544-4124 so that we may look into this for you.     So I got innova scan mobile 1000 (or 3215rs) Dongle and it works but it won’t show the ABS codes on my 2000 Toyota Camry LE and I have the ABS lights on.

      Hi Brian, thanks for your question! Yes, the RepairSolutions 2 app works with a phone, but you must also own an Innova OBD2 diagnostic tool to be able to connect the tool to the app to transfer data to get fixes.

      If your vehicle has no power, the OBD2 scan tool will not successfully connect to your vehicles computer to retrieve any diagnostic trouble codes. If it has power, but won't start, the tool will still work to pull trouble codes, as long as your vehicle has them stored.

      Turn your Wi-Fi off on your phone. Use Bluetooth only.
      1. Uninstall the mobile app from your phone
      2. Disconnect the Car Scanner from your vehicle
      3. Start your car
      4. Connect the device back into your vehicle with the engine running
      5. Re-install the app & sign back in
      6. Try again.
      If this still does not work for you, please try and get a screen recording of your exact issue, your 17-digit VIN, and phone type, and reach out to our USA based technical support team at support@repairsolutions.com so that we can begin looking into this for you ASAP!       Hi Ray! Changing the language on a tool depends on which tool you have. A lot of our tools have a different way of accessing the Menu and Language Settings. You can try to change your Country of Origin in your phone settings, but we cannot guarantee that will work for you. Innova diagnostic tools are also sold in the U.S and Canada only, which is why the app is limited to those regions. We apologize for the inconvenience.
