I have trouble connecting to the bluetooth dongle EVERY single time. Ignition on, bluetooth on, plug in module, delete and reinstall app... try every different combinations of those steps about dozen times and it will eventually connect - at random. Next time you use it, it needs to pair again! Disappointment is an understatement.

Can I add custom pids for live date?

The Innova CarScan 1000 supports custom PIDs for Live Data on Repair Solution 2 app (RS2).
To perform it, please connect RS2 app to the Dongle, tap "Live Data", select the maximum for eight parameters you desire, and select "Done".

How to read airbag light

You can scan for SRS codes by doing the "All System Scan", instead of the "QuickScan". Once the scan is complete, you can find the SRS codes in either the "Airbag" tab, "Needs Attention" tab, or "Passed".

Does this read live Transmission oil temperature and status of shift solenoids?

No, unfortunately, the CarScan Mobile does not offer transmission fluid temp or status of shift solenoids. For transmission fluid temp, we would recommend the 5510. We do recommend accessing www.innova.com/coverage, however, to confirm this feature is compatible with your specific year, make, model, and engine size.
