I vote in favor of a "6 pins to ..." episode from the workshop floor, this could be so fun to watch!
Noted 📝🥰
Yes! Me too! And for one of the rules, I was thinking a time limit for scrolling till you click the first pin, because otherwise you could just endlessly scroll till you find something
💯!!
It could definitely be a project to code. It reminds me of the game Infinite Craft streamers play.
"Pins to pine for"
Would LOVE to see y’all do “3 designers make over the same space” (like AD) to really see everyone’s different styles!!
Great idea!!
Great idea! Bump!
That scandi loft bedroom is such a SICK transformation. I'm jealous of the person who has that much space omg.
Right? Like look at that window and brick wall 😫😭
I love Rochelle's face during these design sessions! Hahaha, so much not being said
It is humourous but I am also feeling uncomforable by it or maybe she is the one feeling uncomfortable. 😂🤷♀
Ya girl be reacting 🤐
@@ttepinI'm feeling uncomfortable watching these videos. Let Rochelle design!
So I typically don’t ever make these “types” of comments but I am totally with you! So much so that here I am commenting🤦♀️🥴 It’s such a strong vibe that I can’t quite pinpoint; like she either looks a tad annoyed, not interested, not agreeing with anyone or almost a little left out. Can’t put my finger on it but whatever’s going on truly stands out from the others. She’s usually so upbeat that this feels odd🤔
I was thinking about this too. Sometimes they are a tinge dismissive…. Like when she was suggesting the diy shower curtain frame. I’m sorry but Becky was kind of rude.
I would love to see a follow up on these episodes to see if anyone actually takes the advice and redesigns their space!
❤❤
Does anyone else find themselves making the same faces as Rochelle during these design sessions? 😅 Like, she has really good taste! Let her get a word in about the designs.
Yes! It was weird!
Not you having had a book subscription sponsorship and then saying none of you actually read 😂
I wish Kelsey and Becky would give Rochelle and Rachel more time to speak and share their thoughts. We know you like MCM and the colors green and brown. Rochelle is not afraid of color and Rachel has some modern spin on things. I don’t know if these are scripted or not but you all are supposed to be highlighting each others skills. Why not take one room and let each one of you redesign it. That way your submitter has 4 different choices.
I was really disappointed when they immediately shut Rochelle down.
I have a feeling Rochelle is a pretty big introvert and doesn't exactly mind being quiet.
I do worry that because she started as a fan of the show, she may still feel unworthy of getting to be with these famous ladies. (I hope that isn't the case!)
Anyway, I think Rochelle is delightful. She reminds me of my little sister, and she gives the spin of what normal people may want. I like her style and the different opinions she has compared to the other ladies.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
Yes! This episode felt a little odd like Becky and Kelsey were running the show a bit too much. Reminded me of middle school🥴
I just don’t think Rochelle has good style or maybe she hasn’t refined it yet. I was just very not impressed with her workshop makeover. It felt like someone just getting started designing and not someone with a design eye. She’s very skilled at hands on work and is very talented but she doesn’t seem like someone who can design well
@scarletmorning9317 I agree, but I liked that she made it for herself. (And if I recall, she lives with her mom, so she may have gotten her mother's opinion before the makeover)?
Where as the Becky and Kelsey tend to try to stick to a whole different level of perfection that they keep working towards... and I'm guessing they have more money they can throw at projects. 😅
Rochelle is an excellent wood worker, I think if she had the years of experience that Becky and Kelesy do, she would be unstoppable!
Regardless, all the ladies are impressive with their individual skills.
Rochelle’s expressions. 😂. I feel you.
I love Becky's Pinterest game idea! Maybe they could all play it one week searching for different design objects (like an Eames chair, or a disco ball) each round scavenger hunt style to see who can find the most?
That shower curtain idea? Amazing. Would love to see a video on it
In Sweden we have an artist who paints and she has some of her prints in shower curtain and many people has taken the shower curtain and made a big painting! 😊 Carolina Gynning is the artist maby if you Google you may find peoples diy😃
@@Misslick78 Thanks a million. Will definitely have a look
Seemed like you were having trouble with the four of you working together... Which seemed kind of strange
I'm 58 and loooove MCM.
I always assumed Old American stain was like Colonial, not mid century.
I would say Walnut is the most mid century, and they probably don't make a teak stain because teak usually just has a Danish oil finish.
I absolutely love this series! I look forward to it every Saturday. It’s apart of my Saturday coffee ritual now.
Thanks so much for hanging out with us! 🥹🥰
The Pinterest game idea is so fun! There's a version called the Wiki game where you do the same thing but use the links within each page to get to your next one. I love the Pinterest idea so much more though! Should definitely play in an upcoming episode! ❤️
i thought the red tile was fun, i would've gone moody with woods, dark browns and greens to complement it, and darken the grout lines. the pink sink looks like a block of spam to me. 😅
YESSSS darker grout was my first thought too! The white stands out too much and really makes the grid effect too strong.
Agreed. And one of the inspired pictures has dark green tile.
Love the idea of a large art piece for a “headboard”. How would printed wallpaper framed out work?
How about just turning that striped rug instead of cutting it
I was thinking under the dining table instead of
@@PucaFlea absolutely anything but cutting it!
I need y’all to play that Pinterest game for one of the episodes
Dude Lone Fox has a tutorial on the large art framed out thing, but it is like peel and stick mural wallpaper
I love this format! Seeing into your brainstorming/collaborating process is fun. 🙂
Some segment title suggestions (im with Rochelle on this one):
"Query-your Interior"
"Iffy Interiors"
"In-Theory Interiors"
I gotta say, impressed with how you made that wine tile throughout work! Well done :)
Ooh, I like In-theory Interiors!
#1 and #3 get my vote!
I love this series! I don't have any spaces that need work, but I've always been curious what the Sorry Girls would think of my living room. Would be fun if you guys did a rating episode (like the celebrity ones) of spaces people sent in! All in good fun of course!
I love Becky's proposed Pinterest game! Let's see it come to fruition please.
Micro/macro aggressions going on repeatedly. Please stop them.
Great video but I just want to know was this recorded around the time of the clickbate thing? Idk why but the energy feels different hopefully I’m bugging and yall are thriving 💕
ohhh perfect i needed this!
I loooooove the bathroom!
i love these episodes
I love this series so much
That first room turned out so beautifully ❤ And kudos for the bathroom ❤
Kelsy it''s good, going to play that game from now on!
I love the name,
Well done Rachael!!
I'm anti rug too! I tripped on the one in my living room and tore my Achilles tendon! Don't have to tell me twice! No more rugs!!!
great episode girlies ! this is my go to Saturday watch now.
Great video as always girls! 👏
"MOAR WINE" 😍
love these- so much fun to watch and lots of great ideas
Decorating Donts, Space Stumbles, Diss My Decor
Loving this workshop floor series!!
havent watched yet..... these next 24 minutes will be GOOODDD
🥰🥰
This is so cool! 👍👍
Girls, you are incredible!!! Just saw the firs room design! Insanelly good!
Loved it
I tested your “green door” theory, and got to it after 6 clicks from my own home page. It would be fun to watch you guys do it!!
6 Pinterest clicks to a boob light. Lol
Hahaha😂
Could you please tell what software you are using for drawing and the render as seems like cool to try it out and get the idea of how a place would look😊
Same
Idk what they use for the render, but the software for the sketching is Fresco. That program is included in the adobe cloud
My whole apartment is like the first room, it's in a converted lace factory in Nottingham (UK). The windows are a major challenge because I want to keep the industrial style but I need to block out the bright city lights. I have curtains for now, but would love some sort of shutters, however the very arched shape (more arched than the room shown) is difficult to manage.
Would you consider applying that kind of filter that just sticks to the glass?
@@ghoulianna6188
Hi, that would provide good privacy, and I may use some of that in the living room, but in the bedrooms I need blackout because the street lights outside are super bright. I may just have to stick with very long, simple curtains.
For the scandi living room, I would've changed the orientation of the couch and TV so that the built in shelf was to the right of the couch. That would've opened the small room up a lot more, but I wonder if they wanted that orientation so they could view the TV from the table.
I'm pretty sure that I would bump into the shelves in the second room every time I went into that space. Love this series.
Would be fun to have a design competition. Teams of two. Designed separately in private, and then presented.
Then we could vote.
Yes please! 6 pins to.... Sounds like so much fun!
I LOVE THIS STYLE VIDEO!!! the renders are sooo good 🎉❤
Doom Rooms...Grace my Space...these were reslly good designs this week.
😕 really missing the makeovers, that cost how much, loft vibes, making home 😥
Not enjoying this now sitting on the floor stuff. Sigh.
Personally, I love them! It's an easier watch. But I do think that these shouldn't be a replacement for the makeover videos by any means. I enjoy these tho!
Hi from Texas! Absolutely loving this new show on Saturdays! 💜
15:39 This game sounds so fun !!
Right?!❤
@@TheSorryGirls Would love to watch a video about it 🥰
The Bathroom is perfect as it is!
for the large art headboard I saw some one do a massive peel and stick wallpaper mural and then use molding for the frame.
Anyone else smile when they hear Rochelle’s giggle? 💜💙💚
🙋♀️
Still not a fan of this format but I did like a lot of your suggestions.
Anti-rug over here too! 1 husky and 1 golden retriever mix = hardwood floors only!
Can you please commentate on Bridgerton interiors and fashions. Loving from the workshop floor videos sooo much. Been watching since there was a hedgehog.
I’ve never been so early 😳 I was watching another video but then saw a notification for the sorry girls’ video and clicked immediately
Your the GOAT 🥰✨
For Nikki's space, i would turn the couch to the side wall, to open up the space. The back access door, paint or put up a print in, same size, since she already has it framed. she can remove/move it when she needs to use it, and hang different size picture frames, maybe add one or two shadow boxes.
your videos are really interesting, this content is really great💟
I would have potentially suggested regrouping the wine tile with a darker grout to lean into moody/be less grids and busy overall .
I loved the game idea! 😅 I tried it and found the pin I was looking for in 4 tries!
Kind of late to the party but I looooooove the last bathroom. We need updates from the people sending their spaces!
PS: WENDYYYYYYY!!!!
I would love love love a video on how to DIY the squiggly coffee table!!!
Library ladder
😮
@@TheSorryGirls wow I got a reply.. So if you’re interested I have a vintage Avon perfume bottle shaped into a screw driver .. which I think would be perfect for your logo .. let me know if you’re interested in it. I’ll send it free of charge.. Enjoy watching your new ideas..Lolly
I am so impressed with how y’all made that bathroom work! I really liked what you chose for the sink and floor. I am less sold on the mirror light, though I agree it is very period.
I love the large ceiling to floor bookshelf on the first space. Takes advantage of vertical space.
I totally agree about rugs with Rochelle. Lot of pet hair and allergies accumulate in carpet
Where is your floor seating and table from!? Love this episode btw, I’m gonna be furnishing my first apartment soon and these videos are so helpful!!
Why does Rochelle look so bored 😢
❤️❤️❤️
Name suggestion Sorry Not Sorry Spaces
No Tuesday video the past two weeks 😢
They had a project profit video last Tuesday
What a wonderful episode. I enjoyed that so much. My favorite was the bathroom with the red/burgundy tile. The ideas you all had were great. Could she also paint that tile? I’ve seen that done in bathrooms .
How about doing 4 different designs, like when Kelsey and Becky used to see which design would be chosen for a makeover.
Only without the voting part, and there’d be a rule about being POSITIVE in the comments.
Was looking for the comments about no video on Tuesday this week
The pic Rochelle found looked like a wallpaper mural which can be purchased obviously or recreated on board. There are DIY's on youtube for making watercolour murals. But I think if the client doesn't have the DIY urge or capacity then just hanging a large piece of fabric/ quilt cover or beadspread can create a scaled focal point behind the bed.
To my eye, that bathroom was abysmal, but you ladies made it work! Out of the three rooms, the bathroom was my favorite, hands-down! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿❤
I like to thrift or ask friends if they have any old frames when doing a gallery wall paint all-some or leave totally different depending on the space. For filler or to pull it all together I have used the solid brown wrapping paper, burlap ,any wrapping paper, wall paper, gift tissue, table cloth, place mats ect.
Hide the vent tube with one long wood rafter ..
Or make a huge fake wooden beam with other beams
Totally just played the Pinterest game and got to the green door!
These are SO incredible, how do we suggest spaces that need help? My main room in my one bedroom apartment is crying for attention, I just don't know what to do with it lol! Much love from Florida. < 3 : D
So what will be the 6 Pins to... rules? Would love a way to play it remotly with online friends.
Is there a time frame or how deep you can scroll on each pin? Who chooses the destination pin?
I think you missed an opportunity with the first space. I’d have put the bed in the reading corner - darkest spot and out of the walking path - or the opposite wall it’s currently against if the corner is too small, and use the space in front of the giant window to create a lush lounging area with floor seating and a huge amount of pillows. Frame the windows with bookshelves and create a deeper windowsill for the curtains to sit in. It would be a good focus point when walking into the space.
Some nice giant, high growing plants (maybe even vines growing upwards with support strings attached to the ceiling) between the bed and the sitting area to create separation.
The second space too (It turned out a bit eclectic zoomer style instead of scandi), think of the lay out, it impacts feel so much. That couch turned with its back to the left wall, facing the entrance for good flow of the space. A broad, low scandi media concole on the opposing wall. Use the build in shelve that’s already there and add more shelving above. I’d put a collection of art and items on the wall behind the couch and a big wall carpet on the wall where you put the giant art. Separation of space with the white seat between the coffee table and the dining table. Can even add more seating now where the shelve wall will be.
Keep the colours more muted like in the inspi pics instead of so primal and saturated.
What software are you guys using to create the beautiful renders?
I totally play 6 pins. I love it on Marketplace. I swear they know me better than I know me😂
1st bedroom - what about painting the metal pipe to match the wall. It’s an eyesore.
I live in a loft space too, you are usually not allowed to paint them and you get used to them pretty quickly. If you really hate it, you can usually cover them with a specialised fabric cover.
The sink is blue, the toilet is gray and wood, and the shower pan is beige. They are not all the same color, are they?
i'm jealous of that bathroom as is! i'm not even into MCM style but after renting in so many places i just want something interesting and not standard issue off white rental stuff, so i love the blue. i'm realizing my great aunt's house was probably very MCM (authentically lol) but of course that matchy-matchy bathroom was *brown* ugh. (not a dig at the controversial brown bathroom lol i mean a brown sink, toilet, and bathtub. it was weird.)
What software is being used for these renderings? So fun
Is there a reason all of the videos are now primarily FTWSF? 😅 maybe the algorithm is only shooting them my way? I miss more physical less podcast style
I am very pro rug always !
So are we getting a video where Racheal tries to DIY the wavy base table
I need so much help! And I have a project I think Becky would love - sconces made from cracked cymbals. But I want to hang it on a block wall. The cymbals are heavy, so I don’t know the best way to approach. Any help would be much appreciated.
Loving this format! Makeovers are the most fun. With the wine tile, I wonder whether the grout could be colored to avoid that extreme checkered look? Also, I don't remember anyone mentioning green towels and accessories -- maybe it was renderer's choice, but not quite the vibe, for me anyway.
