    Unfortunately fortunately this is how I've learned to treat, heal the dysfunction I internalized growing up. I didn't know about this healthy ways growing up or until late 40s. But what's important is that I found a healthy way to BE and treat, heal and Mend the trauma

    My large family was emotionally unavailable and my husband of 30 years, who I've been long separated from, is emotionally unavailable.
    Anything that was big to talk about, life changing, I got silence. I am struggling to get him to talk about the importance of a trust, in our late 60s. Silence. I called a trust attorney myself yesterday. I don't know what will happen.
    Over the years I've had to pry a response about planning our future, having children. Nothing unless it was about having fun, which I did love, but couldn't talk about the big stuff.

    Awesome video!!! I'm emotionally available until we get to the conflict stage and then I just want to go get a frying pan to deal with the conflict. Partners don't seem to like that. Volatility in conflict, emotionally reactive is learned behavior takes a while to unlearn. Not too many people want to stick by your side when you have a frying pan in your hand. 🙈🤷‍♀️

      I am personally a very confused person that I do behaves in two ways , I have my thinkers tendency yet when come to complicated relationship matters I become such a feelers that I am so afraid the experience of rejections happened as it has from my previous experience, when I began to open up. I just could not trust my own move and the other one. I really do not know how to be emotional available and how to behave as I do not seems to see myself knowing how to handle relationship when maybe the right person turn up. And how do I know if thats the right one if we have very different world view about life.

      This can be facilitated by using the "FREEZE" mnemonic: Feedback, Responsibility, Empathizing, Encouraging forward movement, and showing unconditional positive regard. This encourages individuals to communicate their needs and feelings, and promotes a sense of responsibility and empowerment.
      Provide Support and Encouragement
      Support should be provided with unconditional positive regard, creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel loved and accepted, regardless of their successes or failures. Encouragement should be given to help individuals recognize their strength and courage, and to step out of their comfort zone.
      Promote Learning and Growth
      Scaffolding is a useful technique for promoting learning and growth. This involves breaking down tasks into smaller steps and providing support as needed, gradually reducing assistance as the individual becomes more proficient.
      Foster Emotional Intelligence and Distress Tolerance
      Promoting emotional intelligence and distress tolerance within the environment is also important. Staff members can learn and model these skills, which can have a positive impact on individuals in the environment.
