they kind of do from their looks because I have a coaster designer game on my phone called ULTIMATE COASTER 2 and I got addicted to roller coaster design.
Just be aware the console version has a build limit where once it is reached you cannot build in the park anymore. You could be mid planned build and it shall just stop you being able to build.
By the way if you click on a ride, and then click on the camera icon in the bottom right, you can go on the ride for yourself, same works with any person just click on them to see their pov.
I'm thinking about picking this up for my Series X. One thing, there have been some excellent console theme park simulators for consoles. Theme Park on the Snes, Genesis, Jaguar, Saturn, and PlayStation were fantastic in their day. That was one of Bullfrog's first forays into console gaming (think Fable). Addendum- Your new downloadable ride would likely make international headline news. New ride has two mile waiting que that takes 7 hours to ride. Several drunk revelers have fallen too their deaths so far! ;)
One thing I noticed is that you failed to openly show there is a limit to what you can build on the console version. The Xbox Series X has a 31% bigger build capacity than the bog standard Xbox One. Considering the tech leap... that's not much. When this game was released it was falsely advertised and only after it was released and all the pre-orders had been completed did this build limit get released to the public. Effectively no matter how great the game is even the people who made it knew if the public knew there was a build limit then it wouldn't sell as good as it did. Lots of people asked for refunds due to said false advertisement and the fact something critical was left out of the advertisement campaign. I love this game but struggle to play it with the limited sandbox! I'd of much rather of had the game be the same as the Xbox One version in terms of resolution and FPS and been given a bigger area to build as opposed to some 4k resolution which means sod all on a park builder. As women would say, sometimes size does matter!
This was a pain to watch lol 😂 but I get it. Especially in the beginning when you didn’t know how to place a rollercoaster because of the ride height adjustment. One of the things I’m big on with these types of games is keeping things symmetric. I’m not picking on you trust me it took me about 2 months to get things to blend together from ride placement, theming, and terrain especially which I still have a problem with. It sucks when you want to use a great coaster from the frontier workshop, but your park terrain doesn’t suit it correctly. So you have to mess with the terrain tool which could take 30 min on console to make it blend lmao 😂. I’m gonna check your channel out to see if you’ve improved or just moved on from different content bro. Good review nevertheless 💯

I've always been curious about this game or games like it. I'm definitely getting it. Would be a nice slow, relaxing game to play.

When trying to place a new coaster it was too low making it intersect with the ground. That's why it was red. You needed to raise it up.

If I remember the old Tycoon games then you probably needed to raise the prebuilt designs off the ground until they cleared the terrain.
That probably would have been the case, I actually spent a good hour mindlessly tuning my park after filming this haha.
