Super Mario World, known as Super Mario Bros. 4 in Japan, was the franchise's debut on the Super Nintendo. It was one of the very first games made for the system, but even today it's still one of the very best!
With 74 levels, and 96 different exits to find, this was Mario's biggest adventure yet! This time he'd have help from someone other than his brother, Luigi, because Super Mario World was the first game in the series to feature Yoshi!

    * The best way to complete ALL 74 levels, and find ALL 96 Exits!
    * The EASY path to the Princess!
    * TONS of tricks to get UNLIMITED 1-UPs!
    * The secret of the ORB GLITCH which will give you an item that can clear levels INSTANTLY!
    * How to get through every confusing Ghost House!
    * The CLOUD GLITCH - Get an item that will let you fly through levels with ease!
    * Where to find EVERY DRAGON COIN!
    * How to get a Cape in World 1!
    * The secret way to ride an INVISIBLE YOSHI!
    * A way to get UNLIMITED TIME!
    * How to beat the BONUS GAME, and get the maximum 1-UPs every time!
    * Where to find all of the different Yoshis!
    * The best strategy for defeating EVERY BOSS... AND MORE!

@@adventureoflinkmk2 The past ten years for console gaming have been stagnant in the graphics department, IMO. It just feels like developers are just trying to push out games that are 75% playable... I will say though, I really love how the PC community is trying to port old DirectX / OpenGL renderers into raytracing renderers with new Vulkan / DirectX12 API's. For those that grew up with these old Mario games, they were so special, and the music is now so evocative. Every gamer has their childhood console and games that made their childhood. I once randomly bumped into Miyamoto in Brighton about 7 years ago. I was so star struck, just shook his hand and said “thank you”. I think he knew what I meant.

I honestly find Super Mario World a downgrade from Super Mario Brothers 3. There was less diversity in the enemies, lazier enemy designs, less diverse areas, and less innovation in certain game play mechanics in Super Mario World in comparison to Super Mario Brothers 3. However, I did play this game, meaning Super Mario World, straight through for about four to five hours and scored over 4,250,000 points by the time that I had beaten the game.

    A Classic among Classics... 💯🎮👍🏻
Back in the 90's when I was a kid, this game was the most beautiful Mario game to me (now it's the 2D most beautiful one - that came out to light during the 90's -... because we've also got Super Mario 64)

I’m commenting at the beginning of the video, one word…TUBULAR! I still remember that world. I was 13 when the Super Nintendo came out, no way could I afford this thing, then I saw one in the window of a pawn shop about a month or so after it came out. I couldn’t believe it, and brought it home. Thanking you in advance for this video. I already know it’ll be great

I absolutely love the opening segments before the gameplay on this channel.
As much as i like watching the walkthroughs,
I definitely like the way you phrase things when speaking about the history behind the games.
I’d watch the content if you ever do anything like that.

As I am 18, I don't necessarily have nostalgia for this game in the typical sense, but I'll be darned if this isn't my favorite 2d Mario game. I remember playing this game in 2008 with my cousin on the SNES in my grannies attic and beating it together. Then when I was a little older I got my Wii U and downloaded a bunch of VC games. When I revisited this game I also started watching videos on RUclips about it and it blew my mind when I saw all these secrets and hidden mechanics I had no idea existed. I had a blast trying to find them all. When I got my PC I installed SNES9X and downloaded the ROM for SMW and was introduced to the SMW central ROMhack scene which provides me to this day with hours of free entertainment. Thanks for the video, it brought back a lot of good memories.

Nice video! Impressive work as always. I first encountered this game at a cousin's house in Ireland, and it was what made me want a SNES. This was just always a game I could pick up and play through in one sitting while thoroughly enjoying it. This and TMNT Turtles in TIme on a Mame emulator were my go to play sessions most nights.
