He's still making great music & arguably the best lyrist to ever do it... Check out his new stuff on Music Tobe Murdered by...(Alfred Hitchcock concept albums.) Darkness, Zeus, Book of Rhymes, Gnat, No Regrets.. just a few to check out. In terms of technical lyricism, word play, multi syllable rhyme schemes, he's better than he was back in the day... But, being 45.. This album will always have a special place for me... lol. ✌

By being a product of his time, the lines about Pam and Tommy, and Tom Green have zero relevance passed like 2002. People probably have no idea what the lines really go for. I heard some stuff in recent years and it was pretty cringe, but again, I don't really follow hip hop.

But how she does it in S.Florida in Aug. Sept & then turn the ac vent off her when in the car, baffles me as sweats pouring off me in shorts and a tee shirt.) And through freshman yr & till now she's met the requirements to go to bed when she wants to & have her screen time. (Side note: she did lose her phone for a 3 months on 7th grade for a C, and she was on limited screen time then.) Maybe cause of the Era of growing up right before (born in 76') with slow crawl of technology.. compared to past 20 years, you kind of appreciate both.. but aren't as attached to a screen as people. Backstory to this song.. Em & Dre turned in the Marshall Mathers Lp. The album this ended up on.. and his 2nd major release after Slim Shady LP & the "My Name is" track.. (he had Infinite & ssep before signing with Dre) Jimmy iovine from intertscope said the album was great but it's a lil dark (to say the least) and we need a radio track to market it . Em & Dre were pissed... Em was actually pouting basically in the studio.. hat down laying bak in the couch as they played beats etc.. the keyboardist played the stems of this track & Em perked up.. and wrote it in like 2 days. The best part about it was, he literally trolled all the pop stars & boy bands that he hated, and knew he would be put in rotation with almost every radio station with.. 50 cent learned from the master of trolling.. lol. So many Em haters say this song was trash without knowing his intentions behind it. And it was a way to get the Stan, Way I Am, Kill you, Kim, Criminal etc. Out to the masses.. It’s insane to me that KPOP is literally just American pop music performed by Koreans with batches of Korean language in it… and it’s somehow considered it’s own genre. It added nothing to music, it is a pure carbon copy of American music just by a different race lol. It’s like saying “I’m not just a rap fan, I’m specifically a white rap fan”… but even then, a lot of white rappers brought a super unique style to the game that was totally their own and moved it forward.

He won best score for a film that year and it was the first rap song to ever do so. No, EMINEM never had a problem with Dr. Dre, Dre is his friend and mentor, he was just playing around with the fact that Dre promised us a Detox album and finally after 12 years of waiting he finally gave us the soundtrack to Straight Outta Compton as his final album instead of Detox and so many people were upset by that and are still waiting for Detox to come along, but after 12 years of waiting and starting over and over again he fears that the hype has built up so much around that title that no matter what he puts out under that name no matter how amazing it is will never live up to the hype.
I think you're doing a marvelous job reacting to Em's videos. I'm Israeli-born, and come from Nova Scotia, Canada where we have quite a few hardworking Lebanese families, mainly Christian Lebanese, who immigrated largely back in the 60s and 70s, but also more recently. It's truly sad what's happened and is happening to Lebanon right now, and I can only imagine what life is like there. This one is basically saying that there are so many things out there worse than me, but you’re only against me because your kids relate to me and like me because I look like them so you have to make an example of me. EMINEM is against the Grammies and other award shows because they lie to big name artists just to get them there so they can say that they have these big names there so people will watch even though they always give it to the most popular person at the moment even though others deserve it more. He even stayed home from the Grammies and watched cartoons with his daughter when his movie 8 Mile came out because he thought he had no chance of winning and he actually did. He won best score for a film that year and it was the first rap song to ever do so. No, EMINEM never had a problem with Dr. Dre, Dre is his friend and mentor, he was just playing around with the fact that Dre promised us a Detox album and finally after 12 years of waiting he finally gave us the soundtrack to Straight Outta Compton as his final album instead of Detox and so many people were upset by that and are still waiting for Detox to come along, but after 12 years of waiting and starting over and over again he fears that the hype has built up so much around that title that no matter what he puts out under that name no matter how amazing it is will never live up to the hype.

I'm Israeli-born, and come from Nova Scotia, Canada where we have quite a few hardworking Lebanese families, mainly Christian Lebanese, who immigrated largely back in the 60s and 70s, but also more recently. It's truly sad what's happened and is happening to Lebanon right now, and I can only imagine what life is like there.
